Yes, I did replace said portion, and only said portion. I've typed in my password well over 3 times.

I just checked and you are definitely there as a contributor.

Can you right click in the repo browser and force update individual files that way?

Failijg that I guess your best bet is just to create a new folder and do a fresh checkout

Edit - another theory - did you somehow manage to do non recursive checkout originally? Ie - one that doesn't include sub folders. I'm not sure that is even possible, but it sounds like it maps to your symptoms.

Try make a new folder in your documents folder. Type your password as many times as it asks when you first do svn checkout. Then if nothing happens after typing in your password 5 times just close the window. Right click the folder and click show log then right click the latest version and try update it typing in your password as many times as it asks.

Does it work? Now?

The log shows only an initial commit, with no differences between that commit and my working copy.

But all the revs show up in repo-browser? Are you attached one level too high/low in the repository hierarchy maybe? Anyone - see workaround above for now - that'll let us continue while your SVN gets sorted out, by total recreation from scratch or whatever turns out to be necessary.

Hey! Progress....of a sort. :)

I'm going to go Vote so I'll be back in about an hour.

I've done the workaround, but loading that save gives me a "Cannot load version 1329865020 expected version 302 or lower" message.

You get that message from Civ?? Could you screenshot it? It's not coming from C2C code. Does it happen on loading the mod or loading the game? Can you tell me how large the savefile you're trying to load is (as reported in its properties)? [so I can check against the SVN copy in case somehow you're getting a corrupt copy)

Edit - for reference the latest save game in the SVN is 629,055 bytes

Edit 2 - and here it is attached - does that work?

I've done the workaround, but loading that save gives me a "Cannot load version 1329865020 expected version 302 or lower" message.

I had that message come up from a KROME game.

I had to reload the Mod from the Advanced option and once the Mod loaded then select load game.

Why didn't you just double click the save? Civ will load it right up for you.

But this also brings up a question: Do you have C2C MP as a Mod? Or are you trying to use Caveman2Cosmos?

JosEPh

Could you screenshot it?

It's just a standard Civ text box; there's nothing else to shot, really.

Does it happen on loading the mod or loading the game?

Only when loading the game. The mod otherwise works fine.

It was 16kb; I saved the file from the link you posted earlier.

Edit 2 - and here it is attached - does that work?

It does now, thank you very much for that little upload. Now here's mine

er...the file you attached is Thunderbrd's save, not yours (it's 100% identical). Did you get it from the save YOUR game made (in your PBEM folder)?

Apologies, got the folders mixed up. It's fixed now.

Whoopee!!

Updated on the SVN. I also cut the filename down to a turn-independent name so that it doesn't rename every turn (everyone please note).

Astral Phaser - you're go for turn TWO!!!

From the List:

*AstralPhaser (Astral Phaser's empire)
Koshling (Vorlon empire)
JosEPh_II (Augustus Caesor)
Il Principe ( Lyran Commonwealth)
Acularius (Holy Empire of Britannia) [Hiwatha - Italian Civilization]
ls612
Hydromancerx (Hydron Empire)
Vokarya (Elemental Empire)
Mega Nix (Shang Dynasty)
Praetyre
Thunderbrd

Shouldn't TB be before Praetyre?

Yes. Padams can correct when he takes his turn, or I will when I take mine.

Kaiser or dinner? :p

JosEPh ;)

Ok I've had my turn 2, your turn koshling. Btw it asked my to update something assests but when I clicked yes nothing happened so I clicked no to make it go away...

Note that I would usually take my turn in 10 hours from now and this was a really awkward time to take it...
