I sent Spirictum a PM yesterday. He has not visited the forum since Nov 23rd.

Right, so, as much as I dislike us having to forcibly remove a player, this is holding up the game unnecessarily, so can we get that done so we can get on with it? Sorry if that sounds harsh, but if he was on the forum on the 23rd (two days after I committed) and did not take his turn then, that sounds to me like he is not going to.

Perhaps give it just a day or two more. He's playing it well. Would be a shame to turn it over to an AI. Unless we have a player wanting to replace him.

How much longer do you suggest? Nov 23rd still last visit to forum.

17 days have passed since Spirictum las visited the forum. If he went on vacation after the semester was over he failed to notify us.

It's time to move on before this game falls apart.

To set this to AI will someone need to take His turn and thru the Options set it to AI run? I think that is what needs to be done iirc.

Right, well, just tried, and someone is going to have to crack his password. As I recall, Koshling knows how to change a password, as he has done it before.

Can't do that without source code and debugger in a version that can load that game, so probably has to be TB. I can't remember exactly how to do it, but it involved stepping over the password check inn the debugger as I recall (it's very insecure - no encryption is involved so you just have to fake the password match check by appropriately stepping over code I think)

Well, you did something when I took over from Acularius. You changed his set password to a different one so that I could load his turn. While I don't know for certain how you did it, I'd guess that you might have edited the save file directly in some program or other. I hope that helps.

I'm going to PM ls612 to see if he can remember the password so we can move on.
