I'm so glad this game is moving again! Made me think about our world here. It's nice to see my nation coming from the depths to dispute the top, and in this to realise how I'm still a lot less capable then both Koshling and TBrd in organizing my nation. This is reflected on TBrds burst of empowerment in the last few turns. The bulk of my nation is still in primary development, while my core is still behind their cores. My compensation comes from my size, which in numbers put us in similar terms. But in truth, I can't rearrange most of my schedules because my cities still need elementary stuff, while theirs are already a lot more developed and capable of some rethinking and rearrangements.
Anyway, I'm just sharing some random thoughts that came with coming back to play this game.

BTW, AI Elementa (ex-Vokarya) has decided that the best troops a specific city should build are shepherds. There are already 24 in the city and it's still training more. My army will love when the defenses are low enough for my invasion
Once again the AI on this match proving it can't make a stand against a human player.

And on the note for Birthdays, Labor day weekend Friday thru all of Monday (Sept 1st - 4th) I will be away from my computer. We will be going to my parents home in Oklahoma for Dad's 90th Birthday. 12 hour driving trip to get there and another 12 hr trip to get back. So I'm giving a heads up.

As for your planned time out, I'll be out that weekend from Friday to Monday as well so perfectly timed. Looks like we'll be camping out at Yosemite this time, weather permitting. Otherwise heading out to Chaco Canyon.
