Inherited Turn
Re-read the notes to get an idea of what I should be doing. Seems like we want to gear up production in Salamanca, Santiago, and Valencia, as they are the lowest culture towns. Valencia is already at 101 spt so I will do what I can with the other two towns.
We have 2000+ gold. So I decide to upgrade some Galleons. Upgrade 4 Galleons for 600g.
Everything else looks a bit of okay, so I hit [enter].
1455AD
A new source of iron pops up right beside Toledo. Why couldn't it pop up by Valencia?

Max out production on Salamanca. It will starve down to size 18, the max amount of tiles it can work (Barcelona is overlapping on two) which I hope is okay with everyone.
Science to 90%
1465AD
Science to 80%; hire a bunch of taxmen to curb beaker overflow.
IBT
Mass Production => Motorized Transportation
1470AD
Science to 100%, hire a few more taxmen and Motorized is still due in 4
Santiago is now at max production (without stealing tiles from Seville).
IBT
Scandinavia and Persia sign a peace treaty
1475AD
Ottomans reach the Industrial Age
IBT
Americans and Persians sign a trade embargo against us.
1480AD
IBT
Korea declares war on the Vikings
1485AD
More taxmen. I also disband our frigates. Salamanca is pumping a destroyer every two turns and (if I remember correctly) frigates cannot be upgraded.
IBT
Persia and America sign an MPP. Something to keep in mind.
Motorized Transport=>Flight
Madrid: Destroyer -> Commercial Dock
1490AD
Switch Salamanca to Commercial Dock as well
Switch everyone to Scientist and Science to 100, but Flight still only in 5.
IBT
Salamanca: Commercial Dock -> Tank
1500AD
Everybody's producing Tanks right now, just to share in the fun. Besides, we've got more gold than we know what to do with. I almost rushed the Commercial Dock in Madrid, but that just didn't seem pressing.
Persia has 4 ships that showed up last IBT off our west coast. They are willing to negotiate and we can sue for peace at the cost of ~120g. Or we can trade them something for Communism and Peace and take all of their gold and gpt.
All three of the cities Meteor suggested by optimized for production now are. Valencia is at 101spt. Salamanca is at 70spt. Santiago is at 91spt.
I had some workers railroad on the Korean border so I covered them with an Infantry from Santiago just to be on the safe side. There are also a dozen workers beside Barcelona that I couldn't find anything to do with, so I decided to share the fun with Obormot. Chop down the jungle if you want, or road, or forest -- they're slaves, they won't tell you no
Oh, and I forgot to, but we should look at pre-building for the first Modern Age wonders. Flight is due in 4; which Modern Age wonder should we go for first?
