Has anyone heard of this.

A french muslim company is selling a coca-cola alternantive that promotes anti-Americianism.

I watched an interview with him on the TV tonight. He already has other products branded and ready for production that include, Mecca chicken wings, Mecca burgers and Mecca ciggarittes. (no joke)

It seems ironic that he would use Americian culture to promote anti-Americianism and denounce capitilalism.

Crazy.

:crazyeye:

Yeah I heard about this the other week.

This only proves my point again: The world is full of idiots.

Before going on, I would think that this thread's stillborn.

A son of a ***** like him won't go far, even though there are waves to ride in both the Arab world and Europe. The usual babbling about American imperialism and Zionism. Oh no. No way, pal.

I stick to what Coca Cola says:

Ultimately it is the consumer who will make the decision

So what do you want?

Mecca Cola or little Coca Cola

Your probably right nixon, theres not much you say to that. I just found it weird.
I can just picture Osama on the cheesy TV ad:
"After a hard night of plotting the wests downfall, theres nothing more satisfying than a Mecca burger and fries washed down with some cool refreshing Mecca cola. Think extreme, think mecca."

:crazyeye: :)

I wonder Mecca cosmetics is in his line of future products.

Since Coke is believed to be the "drink of the Jews" the demented Saudi government has to come up with something that they don't believe is a worldwide Zionist conspiracy.

 It even looks like Coke... full of red color... like communists :hmm:

But, consumer choice and entrepenurial spirit are a good thing in all their forms. Perhaps showing the Muslim world how capitalism can be done from someone who they don't think is the Great Satan will help it spread, and, in the long run, benefit us all.

That company probably buys Coca Cola, puts it into a Mecca Cola bottle, and ships it to Muslim countries saying they made it themselves.

I think this guy has had some serious brain damage earlier in his life. You can't fight U.S. culture with U.S. like culture. It's not as simple as fight fire with fire.

I'd buy it for the pure novelty of it. And it better taste good too. Not like powdered cola with water. Ew

SOrry everyone, but I'm a mecca pepsi drinker myself
Boy I'm hungry, I sure could use a mecca quarter pounder with cheese right now

I think Al-Pepsi has a MUCH better ring to it, don't you? ;) Remember, Al Pepsi Is The Choice Of A New Jihad! so pop down to your local camel merchant and buy a refreshing canteen today.

EDIT: Phillipe, that is kind of rude towards Muslims. Could you edit it please? ;)

It's always OK to make fun of terrorists however ;)

or just Saddamburger Phillipe, nice one Troq, my next jihad has its drink picked out :D

As Zarn said, how is it they can rationalize denouncing western values while creating a drink that is completely identical to something the west created? Denouncing the west while stealing from it? How moronic.
