Lately I've noticed poems happening here and there around the forum. I wrote one myself the other day, on a different site.

We don't actually have a dedicated place for poetry (that I know of), so why not here?

Any poems are fine (keep them SFW). No competition, just have fun.


To start off, here's the one I came up with the other day (nothing great, just from a prompt to write something about what's currently in front of you):

Tasty rice pudding -
One hundred thirteen grams of
Delicious dessert.

For a porn-star: a love-making session.
Think what priests sometimes hear in confession.
While some polka, some twerk,
So what's suited for work
Depends heavily on one's profession!

Then the gold turned to dust
And now the fires chilled to ice
What Caesar needs his Brute
When his own hand will suffice

Do we even play this game?
Yeah, sometimes I guess.
