This is my first NES, go easy on me. Ask any questions. I will try update every 2days.

Welcome to MESI a boardgame NES i have decided to make due to the lack of boardgames. The rules arn't

innotive, or anything special, they in my opinion are the basic rules of boardgames. I haven't made anything

too special because that just confuses people.

Each nation starts with 1 army, 1 province and a capital city in that province. This is the foundation of your

empire. To capture a province you send in the army and capture it, paying the traveling costs as you go.

These buildings increase your capital:

Provinces = 1cr per turn
Capital City = 5cr per turn
City = 3cr per turn
As many cities you want per province

Your build list:

Armies cost 3cr
Navies cost 3cr
Cities cost 10cr
Barracks cost 4cr
Ports cost 4cr

Build List explained:

Armies are the things that capture you provinces, you need these
Navies are sea bourne armies, use these to land troops at a province over seas
Cities are your economic backbone, the gain credits and you can build armies in a province with a city and if

the city is next to the sea navies as well
Barracks are place where you build armies
Ports the place where you build navies

Provinces:

To expand to a Province you must pay 1cr per province it is away from the Capital
An army MUST be in the province you are capturing
If you are conquering a province it is 0cr

Military:

Barracks: supports 2 armies
Port: supports 2 navies
Capital: supports 4 armies + 4 navies
City: supports 3 armies + 3 navies

you cannot have more armies + navies than you can support

Battles:

Combat System
A=number of Attacking Armies
D=number of Defending Armies
X=bigger of A and D.
Attacker rolls an A*X sided die. Defender rolls an D*X sided die.
Attacker looses number of Armies equal to Defender's Roll divided by X.
Defender looses number of Armies equal to Attacker's Roll Divided by X.
Round down for the one who got the higher roll.
Round up for the one who go the lower roll.
If rolls were equal then round both UP (standoff, more deaths, and both loose same number anyway).
The Cycle repeats (with new A,D and X) untill one side is completely gone.

Sea Battles - Any Fleets with Armies on them will start sinking after the empty ones are dead.

Multi Nation Battles - When more then two Nations are involved in a battle, the "Hits" each nation rolls will

be devided evenly among the other participants unless the player indicates in his orders that his Armies should

aim for Armies of a specific nation.

the map needs to be re-linked, or somthing, but I'll go ahead and call itasly, just for the hell of it- on I'll change its name to Rome ;)
 
as a note, ROme should be in squar 30- not in the middel fo sicilly

ok, the first post sais:
"Capitols=5cr per turn"
then the nation list has a value for each capitol. whats up with that?

assuming i've got 6cr to spend (as the nation list says)
 
I think the list gives you the starting money, and you can build a city in your capital, which is different from building cities in other provinces.
 
capital is the moeny you have, the capitol up there at the moment is the starting money, i changed it on the distance from other races

My orders would be to move my armies into 59 and 92, building an army in 57 to move into 109.

Do you have any objections to this plan? If so, I would like to hear them, and resolve them peacefully if possible.

Shall we form an alliance, the League of Little-Known Eastern Europe Nations? (its true, in my class only 3 people knew about those lands.) I think this would benefit us all.
