Mesoamerican Units

Those pictures are great!:goodjob: Who made it you or another? Where can I find some more of this art? I’m always on the look out for interesting art to help the creative process…
I guess the Egyptian set is next up on my list after all!
I will try my hand at the Meji rifleman too, is there a front view for it? I want to see if there are any markings on the uniform that I should note.
The only problem with great concept art is you worry your actual graphic may not live up to it…

@ NikNaks93
They could use Arabic style units for those eras, but I think I already saw some Arabic style riflemen and infantry in the database, though I’ll have to check again… And if I started making Arabic units for the industrial and modern era, then I’d have to make a whole Arabic set for all the eras! :crazyeye:

A guy named Kal-el made the drawings, you can find his concept art thread here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=1224489&postcount=1

just click "view whole thread"

@sepamu92 Thanks for pointing those out! I forgot about White Rabbit's weapon packs, this will save some time.

@NikNaks93,You’re trying to trick me into making Arabic units! j/k I’ll get to filling in the blanks in the later ages for the Arabs probably sometime later (unless someone has some good pictures of what they want, that always makes the job easier.). After I finish with Egypt and the Americas (I need to see what EDUnits are inside of BtS first) I have a whole lot of East Asian and central Asian concept art that I want to try to make and I want to make some early middle eastern units (before Islam, Persians, Babylonians etc.) But I'll look over the database, if it's just an odd unit here and there (An Arabian style cannon, grenadier, SAM infantry .etc) I could get them for you earlier.

@Sword_Of_Geddon Thanks! :goodjob: Reading those comments on the ethics of making a Anubis Knight made my day! :rotfl: Now I understand your warning!
I'll make sure the Knight is mounted.

That's a good idea! I want to see if the BtS Cuirassier uses a sword or pistol or whatever first though.

I can imagine this guy with a gun as well. Besides hes too cool not to make eh? Just remove the shield.

Now that I think about it, I guess I'll do the Aztec Cuirassier with sword and rebone him to the BtS one if the animation looks cool. This way I can finish all of Kal-el's "god masks" in blender at the same time as well.:)

Oddly enough, the one thing I'm really hoping for in BtS is for new animations to use in the middle ages and enlightment era. Pistol using horsemen would be so cool! They could use pistol in the ranged attack and sword in melee! :please:
12 more days till either utter bless or utter disappointment.

Anyhow, I hope to post some of the egypt units over the weekend hopefully.

Sorry to ressurect an old post but...
I decided to use the Coyote Warrior for the Dragonia II Mod, and I noticed that his shield is floating next to his arm instead of being attached. Can you fix the shield placement or provide the original Blender files so that my team can fix this? Thanks.

@Darque

File fixed and replaced. Just download it again, it should be better now.

Thanks for the update Bakuel!
