Ok, it'd be my turn, but since I have to go to the recruitment (of the Swiss Military), I can't play in the next two or three days and thus need a skip. (good play of yours though, cizzle).

m

Sieg, that puts you up after a double skip (Mitsho and RowAndLive). Or I can grab it in the next day or so, then you, and back to me to catch up in total turnsets played.

Yeah, I'm gonna need a skip for this weekend until late Sunday just so you know.

@mitsho: Gehen mit Gott unser Soldat :D

Well, since I'm back again from Windisch (Vindonissa), I suppose I can play it after all... ;) (but just not in the next few hours, in the evening probably)

The recruitment was what I expected: Waiting most of the time, and then a few medical, psychological and sport tests. Well, they had some problems in the center (since it was put under water by the floodings of August :D) Now I've got (nearly) what I wanted, I am able to go (and thus not need not pay money for the next ten years), I am not in the 'Civil Service' and neither in the 'Civil Protection' (though that would've been acceptable), and I have no quite a quiet job in military (That means that I have to go next year for 21 weeks - I know insanely long - to the RS (recruitment school)). But, cizzlewalk, the army nowadays has nothing to do with God, I'm sorry. And I am btw. not a soldat at the moment, only recruit. ;)

I am back, but will still be unable to play before Sunday evening. So, I probably could take it after Mitsho after all.

Preturn - 50 AD
kick Koreans out, perfectly possible,

Dakkar expands
Grenoble: temple -> courthouse

turn 2 - 90 AD
enemy movement, we discover polytheism and are in the Middle Ages, chose Monotheism, due in 17 turns

found Amiens on hill between two Roman cities, no further expansion possible to the North (Romans there), start temple, cultural conversion.

turn 6 - 170 AD
archer movement of our own reveals Ravenna.
kill one Ghuzz Rider, but discover an army of 6 Ghuzz units, and a goody hut, this seems really to be a lone peninsula in the South.
Paris: settler -> spear

turn 7 - 190 AD
Lyon receives 10 shields from chopped forest, Paris stops the WLTK-Day,
lots of enemy movement, no Ghuzz attacks.

turn 8 - 210 AD
kill one Ghuzz rider, Indian warrior travels accross our land.
Paris: spear -> settler
found Cherbourg, find Ghuzz camp just outside the border, count 10 Ghuzz units and one silk source, otherwise nothing but desert --> temple

turn 9 - 230 AD
The Ghuzz move away (landed settler pair?), Pairs loves the Queen again.

turn 10 -
lots of Ghuzz movement, no attack
Orleans: temple -> marketplace
Tours: archer -> worker
Besancon: barrack -> courthouse

"French conquest of the Ghuzz land, an archer, a spear and a settler and Cherbourg".

Got it xcl

question for the team -- we still have RowAndLive's leader. It's turn 7 and Antium has been captured from Rome, we have a sword army and are building Heroic Epic. The choices are build another army, rush heroic epic, rush FP (where), keep the leader around a bit more. There are some elite chances this turn, so don't want to keep the leader any longer. (why keep it so long you ask? indecision, waiting to see if we would have a decisive edge without another army... ) We are strong to Rome and they are willing to offer 4 towns in peace, but if we go on to take Rome itself we get horses.

In PTW I'd build the FP in Rome after capturing it, in a solo game I might go for a MDI army to really hammer on Rome who are in 2nd place at the moment.

I think that one army is all we need to take out Rome, possibly completely.

It would be nice to build an army to stock with knights or cav, which should come our way soon.

I wouldn't rush HE, as we've put turns into it already.

Since we don't have a great target in mind for FP yet, I guess that I vote for another army, but leave it empty.

I'd like to have th FP, but only if there is a viable place for it somewhere. (maybe in the South, or in the other case, Reims?).

Other than that: army (but not sword!).
