Just as the title says I started a new game in the prehistory era on a large (step up from standard) map along with 9 AI. From the start I've had these issues, load times are even fairly long when transitioning to the next turn, probably normal but a tad strange for turns 0-10.

EDIT: Stutter occurs when loading menus as well

TL;DR, Concerning performance issues that I would expect to find in the later stages of the game and not within the first 10 turns.

Things of note -

+ Ram usage at 50%, CPU at 30%

+ Installed onto an SSD (possible issue, Mod files within (C: SSD) Game stored on (D: SSD))

+ Temps all normal

+ SLI enabled

+ Disk seems unaffected when transitioning through turns

+ Setting application to priority 'high' seems to have very slightly helped (possibly just placebo)

PC Specs:

Windows 10

GTX 770's x2 (SLI enabled)

8gb RAM

i5-4670 3.4ghz

Any other information you may need, im happy to provide.

PS. Excuse the formatting and grammar it's trash.

Are we talking latest SVN or a version download?

Don't hate me, what does SVN stand for?

Thanks for taking the time to help by the way.

EDIT: Im guessing svn is the build. If so i just downloaded straight from the Mod DB

double Edit: I see now that svn is a program repository thingy and no its just the mod db download

I have a patch at this location, http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=14274695&postcount=58 , that if you follow the instructions will get your version of C2C to the latest build.

Just downloaded the SVN version and I am still having the same issue Anymore advice on the issue is greatly appreciated.

I attempted to try out a smaller map and it appears that a duel map size crashed my game.

EDIT: Smaller maps make no difference in lag

After attempting this and loading the mod, i received multiple tag, xml class, along with many other errors which by the end crashed my game.

Yes of course you would if you tried to play old/older saves. That link was for starting a New Game with the Latest Version. Not continuing from the Old ModDb version you have.

Why continue to play outdated version when a link to latest is available?

Still looking for help with this issue or just confirmation that this is the mods natural state. Look through past replies to get a sense of where im at. Thank you :)

The crash is because the game is incompatible with the latest SVN version. The other issue is a potential host of various possibilities. If you're talking about a stutter when you pan the map around, that's normal for this mod and is part of a trick that allows us to use more memory than we had been able to before. Long turn times are normal, particularly right now. Other than that, it's hard to say what you mean exactly.
