Ok. Right now, I have a lot of ants running around in my house. Feeling all evil, I want to cause them a death that is highly amusing to me, but won't cause anything to get broken. (I'd set them on fire with a magnifying glass or matches, but they're inside the house so there is no sunlight, and I'd prefer it didn't burn down)

If I put them in my microwave, how likely is it they would damage my microwave? Also, would killing ants in a microwave result in a humerous death?

I guess the same would happen to the microwave as if you wouldn't put anything in the microwave and turn it on, as ants are so small.

I highly doubt the ants will die, as I don't think there's enough water in them to start boiling to death.

Of course; just make sure they aren't in there to long. They might crawl up into something. ( IIRC there are holes inside my microwave that have functions which are unknown to me)

They are going to cook from the inside out, I suppose that might be amusing.

I never really got into killing the stuff I kill thou so I can't say for sure.

P.S. Make sure you clean the microwave out after properly so you don't get sick. ( If eating ants can make you sick)

I suggest you put a bowl of water with the ants ( or put the ants in the bowl of water), because operating the microwave empty is not good.

Damn, just lost the reply I was typing :(

Anyway, there's a solution to the crawling problem: just put them in a closed jar. The beams will go through it.

But the ants won't die anyway as they are too small to be cooked from the inside, and there's not enough water in them.
And a lot of people eat ants, so you won't get sick if you eat one.

Also fun methods of killing ants:

1. Putting them in the freeze, they will slowly but painfully die.
2. Putting an ant in a glass of water, and don't put it out untill it stops moving. This is also a very fun way to torture them, put them out of the water when they are just barely moving, and then they will slowly start to move faster. Then put them in the water again, etc.
3. Get a magnifying glass and try to pull out their limbs one by one!

I think I'll just get my vacuum cleaner and vacuum them all up. Fast, and I know they're suffering because the other day I broke a light and had to vacuum the small shards of glass.

If you knew how and had some money, you could make a low intensity laser that would be perfect for burning them. The blueprints are lost somewhere on my computer, though :(

All I remember you would need to sacrifice a CD or DVD drive from a computer.

They say that ants taste like liqourice with salmiac, dunno...

How the hell do you make your own bloody laser!!!!!!

Why not just set up ant traps somewhere? You know, sprinkle ant killer that they'll eat and then die.
