I live on the West Coast, and according to Steam, it seems like it will be available at 9 PM PDT for me on July 8... so it seems like all of North America will get it Midnight EDT!

It looks like a GMT midnight launch here in Europe (4 days and 16 hours until release).
Wasn't it that Firaxis had 'cut up' the world in 3 of 4 timezones for release? I believe that's how it was earlier.
America-time, Europe-time and Asia-time, something like that.

1AM on Friday. The rest of the world gets it a few days later than USA and Canada.
What if I preordered it in Sweden then come back home to North America. Will I still get it on 9th July?

EDIT; If your VPN gives you american IP that is, otherwise its three days later and I dunno what time...
I suspect that European release will be based on a European timezone, especially as it's 3 days after US.

With God and Knigs the game was available midnight in Ireland, so I would assume it is going to be the same.
Well, I'm vacationing in Sweden right now and live in Canada and I have my laptop that was bought in Minneapolis, US. So ... I'm confused.

So it's going to be about 00:00 9th July (8th seems to have been a mistake as it is about one hour before midnight on the 8th or so)
The only question I have is: Will I get it on that day in Sweden?
