mIII - OCC in Mesopotamia

good work, too bad we had to get rid of warriors, would have been very helpful to use to find goody huts...

also, we need that road to that quarry resource ASAP, it is needed for about 3 or more wonders, plus look for ivory too, if we can get statue of zeus we can have a strong army without trying

edit, zeus does not give us that, sorry

we need to be careful abouthow we deal with ai, cuz they will be VERY far ahead of us in tech soon, so we need to figure out how to keep our resources and quickly develop wonders (verrrry challenging at that point)

I think we need to prioritise what wonders to head for. We must start on The Collosus ASAP, as out of the wonders which will be coming up soon, that one is not only the cheapest, but it will significantly boost our city. After that, Zeus, Artemis and Pyramids are all possible (after we hook up the stone), but that mainly depends on which technologies the AI has researched. The SOZ might come first though, as we are just one technology away from it, and I think after researching Irrigation, we could do a minimum science run on Astronomy, and probably get it first (no-one else has woodworking yet, I was careful to trade away pottery and not woodworking, also because the AI takes ages to build a granary, while they might begin to clear trees immediately).

Good set of turns.

I'm kind of new for this scenario. Do our city without fresh water stop growing at size 6? Size 6 will limit Tyre's production and certainly we won't win wonder races.

@kuningas, we need fresh water for it to grow past 6

@improviser colossus is a good call, but we also need to manage gold. We are going to need to trade gpt for techs soon and ways to overcome the ai in case they take one or 2 of OUR resources, so be prepared for a much harder game

I'd like to see us research masonry. It's only 2 techs away, after that we can build the aqueduct.

Keeping the monopoly on contacts. On regent level AI will get contacts at very slow rate. It's possible to tech broke us to next era.

Greece and Egypt will be isolated. :)

hmm, It's fine that it is played that fast. :) I'm happy (and sad that my comp isn't working right.... :( )

So, go ahead and play. Colossus is ok and try not to make too much contracts with sumeria or babylon, because they are our main enemies (good land). We cannot attack egypt or greece...

Notes: Mining due 4 turns, we can change government to TC but it doesn’t help us that much.

Oh, it's me up. Got it.

We get free settlers from huts when we have fewer cities than AI. One of the benefits in Regent level.

To next leader:
Marketplace is prebuild for Aqueduct. Marketplace won't be good for us.

Don't change worked tiles in Tyre. We get profit from worker's jobs when they finish it in one turn.

Send slave1 to stone resource and build colony you can't build the Aqueduct without stone. The next turn palace expansion won't reach the stone.

And the roster:

1.Improviser
2.Ville
3.Kuningas
4.Cizzlewalk - up
5.Gogf - on deck
6.mitsho

Please note that the marketplace is important to get more cash and therefore to increase science! I have played an OCC on monarch and was able to keep up in tech very long! Think about the commerce you will get from the tourist attractions (Great Wonders).

So I would certainly build it at some point, just like the bank and stock exchange.

EDIT: hmm.. I see that this is a conquests variant. Maybe other rules apply here... In that case: sorry

I think you may have to skip me (I doubt I can get my computer fixed by next turn). Don't skip me until you get final confirmation though. Does anyone know how many turns until our culture expands?

@Aggie. You'r right about Marketplace. It works same way in this scenario. We may build it later in game. Top priorites at the moment are Aqueduct/Colossus.

@Gogf culture expands in next turn. It's in my turn log :)
