I'd like some furniture.

This. More decorative things would be nice besides just paintings.

I know, and I've built plenty of them. But it would be nice to have, for example, a real table, not just using a wood block or crafting bench as one.

As for furniture, I was thinking of closets.

It's annoying to juggle all the seperate pieces of armour in chests and put them on. What if closets act like special chests for armour? You fill them with armour pieces just like you would a chest - maybe all of the same material to simplify the interface and encourage multiple closets.

When you right click you open the closet and can add or remove the items. Left clicking does one of four things:

- If you're wearing no armour, it takes one of each piece (if available) and equips them for you.

- If you're wearing a partial suit and there are available pieces in the closet, it puts them on.

- If you're wearing a partial suit and there are no available pieces, it puts them away.

- If you're wearing a full suit, it puts all of the items back in the closet.

Farms will auto water

Most farms are next to water anyway.

Days are one light level darker
It puts out fires (resulting in possibility of monsters coming out during daytime and lasting longer)

Oh. Oh dear.

It would be nice though to not have so many irrigation channels in farms.

I really hope it doesn't extinguish all torches, that would be such a pita to constantly replace.

I would like to see an effect from lightning. First off, have it strike a tile, not just some background effect. Second have their be a small chance of that tile catching on fire or have a small explosion.

EDIT: Nvm I see it does create fire on the tile it lands on.

I guess wooden houses won't be safe anymore.

It would be nice to have preferences to turn on/off features like weather, day/night cycle and so on.

Wow, that sounds Fun. And hilarious if you're out walking about and you see a pig or something get struck by lightning. Bring it on!
