Wow those pistons look great. I wonder if it is possible to chain sticky pistons to make elevators and whatnot (could have interesting uses for mob traps)

I think you can sticky together a line of pistons but there might be conditions on how it would work.

That's a great idea: connect two walls of pistons to a repeater circuit, and water to flush the items where you want them. The walls will keep slamming together grinding mobs to death, no items lost (?). It certainly would look cool. I will try this when the update comes out

Even better, you could use just one piston, if the hole is a 1x1 square.

Nice. I had a chuckle when the cow looked like it was looking at the piston with a worried look.

Also, all blocks should be abled to be made sticky (sticky TNT anyone?).

That's awesome! You could use that in Multiplayer to great success! (especially with the hidden entrance, for a private mine or something.)

Looks pretty interesting at minute 3.57. Seems there's some timing coded to get the 4 pistons in sync.

Also a little bit before that it seems like the gravity model is slower than the piston can be switched back and forth too. About the only thing I could think to make it more realistic is if they added some sense of friction and gravity to how fast the pistons deploy. Looks pretty cool. Now they just need NPCs of different classes and its dwarf fortress with farming et al.

Notice that the lava continues being lava underwater

Until it hits the bottom then it turns to cobble. This is probably for the best too otherwise it would make a huge amount of cobblestone and take up a lot of space.
