Minor Suggestions Thread

Didn't seem major enough to deserve its own thread, but that is now remedied. ^_^

I never understood how peace "breaks out" again. When your invading several indepenent cities how can peace "break out" when i am the one winning the war.

When you declare on the Independents, after 10 turns of no militiary action peace is declared automatically.

How do you declare war do you just send a few units and invade?

declaring war on the independent civs seems to work differently for some computers. for me i have to direct the unit where into there territory and right click and a pop up for declaring war will show up.

Thats how it works for everyone AFAIK, most people just describe it as "go into their terriotry" because they're too used to it to remember that its weirder than normal.

No, I use the arrow keys to move the map and use right click to direct my units. Not only does this show you the shortest route, it points out deficits in your infrastructure so that you'll correct it.

I press g and click on the tile I want them to go to; this doesn't work for independent-attacking. On a side note, I wish I would use the keyboard more than the mouse, especially with worker commands, but its just a habit thats hard to break.

I think a stronger Aztecs is important, though I don't really feel either way about the Incans. The Aztecs' problem could probably be remedied by adding a couple more Jaguars and maybe an archer or two, as defense and conquering the Mayans are the two things I wish they did more consistently.

Lagos needs to be dejungled. Maybe add a Banana nearby too.

Brunei City (Bandar-Seri-Begavan) needs to be dejungled, to be fair to the AI, who can't grab that Oil.

Same with Manila.

adding an incentive for founding cities close together. But not just closer to the capital, but say giving england and incentive for founding cities closer together when settling south africa.

Ok let's make a resume of what i would like to see in RFC:

-Stronger independants and natives(especially in Shiraz, Samarkand and Chichen Itza in the 600 ad Rfc where they are always killed by barbarians and maybe it could be cool to add one city in north america to represent pueblo or sioux and to make the west conquest more realistic and more hard for the USA)

-Less chance to collapse but more chance to see some of our cities becoming independants and more chance to see an old civilization come back in our territory if we are unstable.

-Stronger Aztecs (and maybe incans). It could be easy to do it by adding them 2 more units and the paper technology(paper with the astronomy was one of the only thing where the aztecs was equal/superior to the europeans..Do not remove it to them please.)

-More chance to see independants cities appears in south america, south africa or australia to represent the country like brasil, australia, south africa or canada.

The rest of the game is absolutely excellent because of the last version of RFC.

I actually like this - even if Brazil (for example) wasn't colonized, an independent city could pop up there to represent "refugees from several countries" that would have moved there and started an independent government. Although Brazil is too valuable to be left uncolonized, maybe this could be done in Australia's and maybe Canada's case?

Ugh. GDP going *down* causes my economy to completely CRASH. A change of 2 - 4 commerce early game completely wrecks the economy. I can't move a citizen from working a water tile to working a mine without destroying it!!!!
