[MOD] Fall from Heaven

This might be a little crazy, but have you thought of offering this mod as a torrent? I don't know if civfanatics has the kind of bandwidth to offer a 122mb download to, I don't know, hundreds and thousands of people ;P

At any rate, downloading now at max speed for my connection... hoping nothing will break.

A friend of mine with also a french version of the game has the same problem. Labels are missing, although it's still possible to click where they should be.

Okay, this was a hard one. Its fixed in patch B (linked in the first post) but you HAVE TO delete all of the files in 'Fall from Heaven 100\Assets\xml\text\' before you install the patch. If you don't then it won't fix the problem.

Its a lot easier for me to patch and update from one site. Once it gets out on torrents I have no ability to pull it back. Thunderfall just sends me a pm when he thinks he may not have enough bandwidth for the month and I move it another site.

:D Just tell your family you hid eggs in the yard and to not come in the house unitl they have found them all. Wether or not you actually put eggs out is up to you.

Fantastic ! My hero :) I haven't tested yet, but i'll try tonight, and give you a feedback asap.

Oh, and on a sidenote, thank you very much for the mod overall.

i knew i should have grilled you about patch(1.61) doa, i was getting antsy waiting for it. Of course you may not have been able to answer.
 
Hi Kael,

I saw that SDK and the new patch came out, and I immediately thought of this mod. Looking forward to trying out 1.0 in all it's splendor. I have to go fishing for four days this Easter weekend, but I know I will be losing some sleep next week. Thanks from a lot of people that don't post often.

Yeah, I didnt list it but the isalive check that fixed the werewolf function fixes a few things, including the inquisitor conversion.

I don't know what is causing this, I use the same process to block ocean tiles that I use to block peaks. I am still looking into it, thanks for the heads up.
 
First of all, great mod.

I noticed two wee glitches that are probably low priority, there are several instances where instead of text I am seeing something like text_link_seafaring. You can see these if you look at any seafaring civ in the civ selection screen, it also pops up with the Elven Archer unit text (not the text in the 'pedia, when you mouse over an elven archer).

You can build a dancing bear without a carnival.

I had the Fellowship of the Leaves religion and then researched Dwarven Studies, after the research was done I got a popup asking if I wanted to switch to Arete, although I was not the religious founder and I did not have that religion in my nation at all. Unfortunately I did not try to actually switch to that religion at the time, and it was correctly not an option on the civics screen

Right you are, I will have it fixed int he next version. Let me know if you find more, I had to redo all of the text in the game last night because of the foreign language problem and I wouldn't be surprised if I missed a few.

Thats intended. As the hardest of the animals to capture the dancing bear has the advantage that it can be placed in any town regardless of the existance of a carnival.

It should have had a '(requires Runes of Kilmorph religion)' after the civic name. If you would have selected it it wouldn't have let you it.
 
The new forest chopping appears to be not in sync with version 1.61 . Because of the formula they use now chop rushing in FfH 1.0 only gives back 13 hammers. I noticed through some testing on my own mod though that on normal speed you only get back 2/3 of the xml value back for chopping now in the new version. I had to increase all my values to 30 in order so that chopping gives back 20 hammers when in your own territory.
