Hi again

I've been playing TR 2.0 Gold for weeks now and I'm loving it. Definitely the best mod ever for Civ4 Warlords.

Will there be another version in the nearer future? Like 2.1 or 3.0?

The answer is: YES YES YES. :goodjob:

And we are all waiting for it.

But be patient, we all want a good update - not a rushed one.

Yes, I'm patient - Just wondered because this mod has a lot of potential.

I have an idea but might be silly. A worker builds a bridge on 1x1 ocean from island to island for the land unit to drive through the ocean. Have you seen long bridge in real life? Well, why not having it in Civ4 too?

Why not?

Even FreeCiv is thinking about adding it.

Great mod, this is now the only way I play Civ 4. Great range of unique units and buldings give a much greater variety of experience wiuth different civs and makes for much greater replay value.

Currently playing first game as Persians, Apothecary and powerful foot knights make for an extrememly powerful middle ages power able to keep its cities healthy and generating cash.

Thank you all for your hard work and look forward to any further updates.

Be sure, that in the next release there will be a lot of more new (unique) buildings inside :D

Thank you all for your hard work and look forward to any further updates.

if I am "up-to-date" we will release this weekend a new update... download it and enjoy the new units and buildings :D :D :D (and of course the marvelous work of the rest of the team, they did a awesome job making me jealous ;) )

Hi!

First of all this is a GREAT MOD, if not the best ever:) !

I just got one irritating problem which I hope somebody got a solution for.
I have been playing the world map as the romans and the americans and late in the game some of my towns are suddenly attacked by foreign agents.
In some cases they just steal some technology points, but in other cases the leader of my town is assassinated and the town goes into riot mode.
Is it the spy unit that causes these problems and how do I prevent them from attacking my towns with succes?

PS: I have tried to have a shitload of units in my town + a spy, without any effect. The same about sabotage against resources. How many units and spies does it take to make an enemy attack unsuccesful?

Its not unit number, but unit expiriance. And assassins are counted highest here. Get a lvl 7 assassin and only same lvl assassins will do that city harm.

Also declare war vs owner of assassin that sabotage your cities. Im working on making them weaker, more expensive with ambitions to DELATE those s.o.b.s

i loaded the mod up and total realism was in the corner but once i got into the game i noticed the game was no different. how do you know for sure the mod is loaded correctly? and how might i fix my problem?

If you have started the mod correctly you would see Total Realism in the Screen Title.

guys, if I may give you a suggestion:

If you have Warlords, play our Warlords version. We haven't updated this version for a long time and to be honest i don't think we would ever have time to come back to this project. We are six men and everyone is busy modding for Total Realism Warlords version. And the gap is getting so big between this two versions, that seems impossible to fill.

i use the link and get the right screen that says total realism and everything seems to be working but when i get in the game its the exact original gameplay.

i do plan on getting warlords within the next few months.

For all reading this threat

Most likelly we will not comeback to Vanilla civ4 Total Realism. We made too much progress and changes in game code, to turn back and try to convert it to Vanilla. However im not saying that Total Relaism 2.1.3 is Final. There is allways a chance that we comback here, but at the moment, nothing says we will :/

Maybe if someone will volountier to convert Warlords Total Realism 2.1... But im not the leader, so dont ask me ;p

what is the best way to use the great leaders?

Using them to speed up city production by 67 hammers seems a complete waste.

Other than that, all I have found was as a medic accompanying your SoD.

I probably have 7 or 8 now and they arent contributing much for someone great

any advice?

Dont remember. Havent worked with 2.1.3 for a long time.
I belive they could build academy of some sort which gives unit production bonus and xp. There is some requirement for this building, but dont remeber it as well. And i think you could make him join city as specialist +2:hammers: +2:commerce:.

Anyway, move to Warlords TR. More everything, exept not needed features.
