I founded Judaism in my last game (the one with the ridiculous slave revolts) and my Rabbis could not spread it. I also founded Buddism, and my Alatraovos or whatever had no problem spreading that, forcing me to change religion... is that intentional?

Hi all
today I spend whole day for hunting this annoying CTD bug, but i hace bad news: can't find reason of this. tried all sended saved games, mostly working with game from purger30 (he was first) and still without success. sometimes got strange results: 4 from 5 attempt of load savegame was successfull (passed turn without CTD), but after that -> crash (with same conditions)
noid also pointed that he got CTD when GP was born for mali - i tried this, game can continue without crash 3 times form 4, this one crash was not with GP/mali civ
anyway, bug when game crashed if siege unit perform bombrd to empty (non-defended) tile is solved, this will be in next emergency patch (monday afternoon GMT). other bugs (heli can't carry units etc... in next patch, now i have top priority for solving this CTD)
if there is someone, who is able (have much free time
) help me with testing this CTD savegames, i will be very happy - PM me (need to pick every civ in game and try to pass CTD turn and look for any conditions which can cause CTD)

the crash occurs when I (china) get a GP, thats the save game i sent you.. Had a different CTD earlier (used a save game editing tool to switch with AI's and found that when i switch with MALI's and load the edited saved game, CIV crashes..). Nobodys at war in my game so its not the issue with bombarding anything

There is a nice thing i noticed
When i use World builder more than 5 times i get CTD
When i dont use World Builder (only to make a city map my self) i dont get CTD to the end !!!
Please consider this in your post, it might be that, but if its me...

6 times loaded my autosave, game crash same time - turn after i get GP "i order him him to move, soe he is still playing". Dont send save game its now its corrupt x_x, wanted to try 7th time.

Gonna try this:
start a game, build a city, and spam wonder to get GP very fast, wont use him just move him around and see what happens. new reply shortly

everytime i hit turn 128 (so i press end turn on 127) playing arabia, the game crashes to the desktop. Everytime.
i installed 2.1 and then the patch (which i'm starting to think i shouldn't have done and 2.1 is all i really needed).
any suggestions?

No CTD !!!
Got like 10 GP and still no crash.
Also tried spreading religion whith missionaries inside my country and outside!
Also tried to see if Oracle free tech is crashin - not.
Tried this all above for AI civs - nothing
my GPs were differant, and all possible types.
Build all shrines, spred Judaism in city that has all other religions, and dominant(judaism) has banned others !!!
Gave my self all technologies, tried switching betwean all civics.
Switched AI diplomatics in World builder to make them listen to me ordering them to change civics.
Circum navigated world.
Won space race.
killed yeti

and still no crash !!!
even changed all plots to desert so that enemy wont build up, wont have units, same for barbs, so turns fly fast, i my self just went wealth, went to 800 turn and !!! power shut down !!! lol. But still dont crash.
Didnt try range borbardment tho. Its the only thing left that may crash game exept entering World Builder often.
I even used WB to spam all types of units... sniff... god hates us...sniff
BTW: All my infos of great person born was blasie pascal !!!

I had CTD every 5 mins when I first got Civ. Found out my GPU wasn't supported or something ofd that nature. Got the 1.61 patch and since then I have never had a single CTD in several months!
Found something strange, not sure if it's a bug. Although I Couldn't spread Zoroastrianism with missionaries outside my borders and it wouldn't spread outside of its own accord either.
But buddhism spreads like a bush fire. I founded buddhism too, but didn't set it as state and basically ignored it.
After a remarkably short time (30 turns, or thereabouts) it had spread halfway across the world to seven different nations, all over the world. I hadn't even met 2 of them cos they were on a different continent.
I never lost the holy city either.
This must surely be a bug. Plese tell me Buddhism isn't supposed to spread this fast. It would be too overpowered!

Is the informant unit supposed to be able to explore a goody hut regardless of hostile barbarian units occupying it?

I have a very small suggestion. Could you guys add a 'Explore Automatically' button to the informant?
It's annoying having to lead him by the hand. I just want to hit auto explore and forget about him for a few centuries, until he comes back with tons of new map data.
