ModBuddy crashes when I try to connect to GameSpy

Subject says it all. When I go to Tools - Online Services, enter my GameSpy id (email) and password and press the 'Log in' button, ModBuddy stops working (that is what Windows then tells me).

I really wish the game and SDK had had some kind of quality control.

Likewise. Started yesterday, worked fine before that.

Suddenly when I try to connect "online services" in modbuddy, I get the error attached below. The error line number seems random (i.e. it is different every time)
I get the error after inserting user/password and clicking on "login" button

As result, I'm not able to upload any mods

Modbuddy is still able to handle local operations (build, editing, ecc...)

Any clues?

I never solved it. Have not tried it for quite some time (was hoping for an updated SDK) though.

It's a frustrating problem to be sure as it will limit the distribution options. Even after a clean install of Windows with a reformat Modbuddy still crashes on trying to log into Gamespy.
