Also nice to hear the UHVs are not the only drive to play. Same to me in my current Bahmanid game. I started playing to test the UHVs and UP, but now I really like to play on until 1700, even I failed the UHV 1533.
Actually, the Portuguese conquered a city. I fortified Manbai with walls, castle and hordes of units, because of a later Portuguese spawn 1533 near Manbai. But instead of attacking Manbai (I think 3 tiles away), they sailed to Ghua (10 tiles or something

), where I didn't even have a wall! Sure, I reconquered it soon, but the UHV is failed.
First I played on to see if the Portuguese can come back until 1600 (that is the range of the UHV), but they were pretty week this time.

I saw Oman reconquering their cities in the gulf!
To achieve the other UHVs, I was at war with Delhi. They were REALLY strong (sometime 4 vassals), and in the end I had to give them Anhilwara (after the UHV was counted, so I completed it) for peace. Otherwise, they had destroyed my empire completely!
But now, 50 years later, I want to see if I can mange to let Delhi fall. They have lost some cities to the mughal Spawn(but their vassals), and a reinforced Mewar. Luckily, they became voluntarily my vassals. So 1596, when I became military technological nearly equal, I started the biggest war Hindustan has ever seen, and will never see again.

At least the power graph tells good news:
