MODS compatible with Vox Populi (VP)

Quick question. Is the Useful Oil Mod and Greatest Cities mod balanced for CBP?
No.
Useful Oil Mod -> Since buildings and units are completely different, certainly not.
Greatest Cities -> No, but it should not be too stupid. Happiness is very difficult to handle when beginning at VP, so the +5 happiness from the arch may significantly simplify the game.

Thanks for the reply! Sorry but one final question though. The Trading Posts Grow Into Towns mod may not be perfectly balanced with VP. But will it disrupt the flow of gameplay? Like for example, will it still be affected by the technologies/events that's meant to improve villages?

Don't know. It depends on the way your mod is coded.
 
When selecting VP from the mods menu, it never seems to reorder them correctly at the selection screen. It only has (1) Community Patch and than my various mods underneath. How can I know if it is loading (1),(2),(3),(4),(5), and (6a) first before these secondary? I activated them individually at mods screen and than did (enable all) for the latter.

Lua.log is your friend.

The mods are loaded in the order as shown on the list. Unfortunately this list is not scrollable. The full list you can find in the logs.
All these mods are loaded before e.g. (2) from VP because they have no dependencies.

For some of the mods, "Redesigned colors and icons" for example, only use "xml" files in their particular folder. They don't show listed on either lua.log or xml.log but they load correctly. Basically, what I'm asking is, save from searching each folder and comparing it to VP for duplicate files, can I be certain that the load order will not be overwritten and lose the values inserted by the mods first listed? Are they merged by default in each circumstance? Can I force 1-6 to load first by changing the "modinfo" files or is that unnecessary?

Usually they contain some loading info and that shows what is loaded. Plus EUI has a nice feature that lists all mods loaded, but idk if they are listed in load order.

Lua log lists active mods if you’re using EUI. Does so after interface loads.

If I remembered correctly, Greatest City Mod is not compatible with VP+EUI. Is the greatest city banner/icon showing for you VP+EUI users?

Yup, seems to be working okay for me - probably not balanced, but works.

Sorry guys, I was very busy in RL. I went through the recent posts in this thread and checked the current compatibility status with JFD about his mods. If you spot anything wrong / missing / new, please let me know. I have more time now, so I will update quickly.
 
Is Capture Great People part of VP now or shall I install it separately?
