and what is the deal with "bumping"? i'm sorry, but i always thought that was so stupid to make a big deal over it.
what is the point of having a "FORUM" for disscustion, yet anytime someone
want's to ressurect a dead thread they get ostracized.
if you don't want people to talk about something anymore....
the delete the thread, and free up some bandwith.

I think that the issue that people have with bumping old threads is that if people bump a bunch of old threads they clutter up around the new threads and when you're looking for what's new you have to keep checking these old threads, taking up time, to see if somethings new, just to find out that it was just an old thread bumped.
With that said,
I, as well as I'm sure many other creators feel about theirs, don't mind my threads being bumped to tell me if someone appreciated something I created, or if they found something wrong that needs correcting, but I can understand how others don't keep wanting to have to check old threads for updates long after the thread has died and passed away.
As for the last point, if directed at me, please see paragraph above. Also, as mentioned, it is still useful to keep the thread around in case of updates or problems that could be addressed in the thread. If someone finds a problem, they could PM you, but at least by mentioning it in the thread others can become aware of the problem.

Here is the deal. You check the last post date, and you check the thread opener`s profile for the time of his last activity. If the guy has been gone for like 3 years, there`s virtually no hope he`ll come back to see that someone said that they like his art. Its annoying when 90% of other people have already seen it and been using it for years and forgotten the original units name and they think its something new and it turnes out to be some guy who doesn`t bother to pay attention to some written and unwritten forum rules.

future, but i just wish some people would get over themselves and
just enjoy the forum. like seriously....if your on this forum in the first
place it's because you have nothing better to do, so if you take a second

is going to implode because you have the hit the "Back" button a couple times.

Its not a dead thread cos we are waiting for Grandraem to post 2 more versions of this LH, one for me and one for Swoggy
And no one said its a catastrophe - we are saying its annoying. Like flies. They are everywhere. Its unlikely that alot of people constantly daydream of nuking the planet to get rid of flies, but you can bett your left eyeball that at least a billion people thinks they are annoying

Like Grandraem, I'm always happy to have my threads bumped!
Bumping is more annoying when people say very little, such as "I like this unit" and nothing more. A paean of praise is more worthwhile even if it basically comes down to the same thing. Really I think that if someone really likes a file, and posts to say so and to say why (rather than just a vague "Good job"), there's nothing wrong with that.

it'd be nice to have some interest in my threads
lol, but at the moment it's still just talk, dispite my pretty
new pictures i have on their lol.
so...perhaps we should only bump if we have something constructive,
and with some substance as you said, not just some vague monosyllabic
responce. thus a "w00t" or "cool" or "sweeeeet" is better kept to one's self,
and if their excitement can't be contained, PM the poster and praise them there.

I know it's not perfect, but will this do?
I've alredy changed Shaka of the Zulu with this leaderhead. If You make also the 2 eras more it should be great!!!

I thinned his jawline a little but there's no morph I can find that will widen his forehead. The only thing I could think of is to widen his head by increasing the xscale and then reshrinking and moving together his eyes, nose, mouth, and ears, so that they don't look too distorted. I hope you don't mind, but as my time is very limited at the moment due to some real life stuff I'm going to leave him as he is. With the changes I made I think he's a little closer looking anyways. I'll be posting some shots with backgrounds soon to get the background decided, then you'll be able to see his current look (which is pretty similar to what's posted).
