More Civilisations

I think we're giving the Galeá the ability to cross oceans; you'll be able to start exploring and meeting all the civs much earlier; but you'll have to wait for later to embark.

Sounds like a good idea.... It also is fixed to one specific unit, so it gives the unit more importance.

And yeah, the new icon looks good mr. Sukritact :goodjob:

Out of interest; do you have shadows disabled or have they not yet been set up?

I have Shadows disabled :rolleyes: , I can't run with many nice graphical settings, its a sad thing...

Tuscany looks stunning. Really very exciting.

The new Kilwa leaderhead is equally amazing, it's like he's about to wave some cloth about. But I'm not happy about the changes to the Coral Port, I am very sorry to say. That culture bonus on resources made it my favourite mod civ to the point where I included it in all games even if I wasn't playing it. I'm guessing there's no chance of that ever making it back in at some point...? :sad:
 
The culture from Sea resources? It could come back, I was just worried that it would be too OP with the new trade boosts. I'll talk to the others, see what they think, but I don't have a problem with bringing it back (not the production though, that'd make it too OP. In the mean time though, it would be easy enough to add it back in yourself if you wanted to, the code from v1 is the same for that and you'd just need to copy it into the v2 files

Thanks for the suggestion, have now added it back in with the code change, and am very impressed with myself for doing as am a digital moron. And having played it through, you're right about the production, it is quite aggressively OP, especially with the new Exploration tree. It's hammertime.

The culture on sea resources is just too good for the Kilwa to be gone forever, maybe add it into the UA, it's just such a lovely little bonus for the Swahili traders!

Yeah, they're the only ones released so far. I think we're just waiting on the UU model for Tuscany before that can be finished up and then it's just me getting the time to put together all the other stuff we have floating around
