More Discussion on How Democratic Turn Chats Are.

For every word you type, Eyrie will type two.

lol! This is my 1st experience in "intensive posting" ;)

A word of warning tho, Zur. For every word you type, Eyrie will type two.

Other than statements like this, your input is welcome.

Edit: I apologize, Cyc, if this was meant the way that Zur took it. If that is the case, you need to learn to use more smileys;)

And i type three. So thats the way to become deity.
CyC: again we comply. we should fix the organizational issues, but maybe it will be a good idea to come back to the basics:
why dont we ask DOF to implement the original constitution, just without the paragraphs which allow changing it? and then we just play with it and dont change anything. thats how rl is. even if the constitution is bad, nobody will change it. every1 will live with it and implement interpretations around it (this is why those constitutions are so vague)

Semi-jokingly: Should "intensive posting" be banned? It puts too much discussive power into the hands of a few people who happen to be online at the moment. It's like a turn chat. ;) Whoever replies a day later is deemed to be out of the discussion and irrelevant.

Hehe. Shaitan might actually try to kill you for that. I think the constitution is in better shape now than it was when we started. Interpretation caused a lot of problems. There are sections that were added that were not necessary, but I don't think they hurt that much, except for the one about the spot votes at the turn chat.

why dont we do the turn-chats on the forum?

Well, it would be more organized. It would also go much slower. Of course, the player could play the preturn stuff, hit next turn, post anything important that happened and then ask any questions that he/she needs to ask. It could work.

Well, we have time, dont we?
Do we have a time-limit for the game? Who care if we play for the next 10 years ;-)

We don't have a time limit for the game, but there are those who want to see it go faster. Some of us (myself incuded) don't mind debating the same details for several days, but I bet many get quite bored.

Eyrei, I did not mean to offend you. A LOT of my statements contain very dry humor (or an attempt thereof). I tried using smiley faces for awhile but....it just wasn't for me.

I offer you my territory map as a token of my good will....

we could do subforums for it:
a long-thread forum, a mid-thread forum and a short-thread forum.

EDIT:
:crazyeye:

Hehe. Again, I apologize for not thinking before I type. Territory map accepted. I sometimes feel pretty silly using smilies as well. They can be very useful for separating humor from insult, however.
