Actually, there's a period before Renaissance (and, specifically, Volunteer Army and Interventionism), where waging a long war can be a pain in the ass. Then again, I was playing with Flexible Difficulty, but in any case, the unhappiness rose so badly I lost 2-3 pops in several cities.

Let's see...Monarchy/Bureaucracy/Coinage/Mercenaries/Public Works (or Church, doesn't matter)/Imperium

Then again, I think it may be related due to my cities balooning in population quite fast/and I was spreading fairly quickly. Of course, I had REV on, but I don't think that influenced anything in this case.

So if you build everything in a city you will get 145-50= +95 War :mad: Not counting Statue of the Champion and Tournament, that are both National Wonders and are limited to a single city.

Interesting stuff. Table's a bit hard to read, however...

Still, I'd be game for those changes, as they'd make war weariness more of a challenge and less of a joke.

My goal in design was to force players to chose between war attempts or economical growth. I know, that it's still possible to go completely neglect war:mad:, but you should pay the price of that elsewhere.
 
Could we include the Hive civic in the AND core? I really like the idea and I think we should have more new civic choices in the Modern and Transhuman Eras. The AND core has 59 civics not counting defaults, but there are only 4 Modern civics (Green, MAD, Technocracy, Unmanned Warfare) and 4 Transhuman (Paradise, Post-Scarcity, Superhuman, Virtual). Every other era has at least as many as these two combined. I'd like to add a few more to balance this out.
 
Shouldn't you make a seperate thread for Chronicles? Looking for a download link through all these posts was a hassle, as well as getting to know about the mod in the first place.

I second Zeta Nexus' decision on that.

Virtual makes no sense, as it's essentially republic 2.0 with an infinite city sprawl-encouraging building that makes Republic stupidly OP. Personally, I moved Voting Link to Republic/Democracy, made it provide 1 happiness/+25% maintenance/+25% war weariness iirc, with the added requirements being at least 3 computer networks (like the info net) and the agora/district office as an added requirement.

Revision 1027; modules used are all Chronicles modules, all MCP modules as well as the music module.
Attachment includes a save file where proceeding to the next turn causes the crash, as well as its respective dump file.

I don't think it is related to the modules... I remember 45 asking if anyone experienced CTD with rev1027.

I don't know is it just a placebo or not, but after I disabled the stone age module as well as the jewels of the land, I haven't seen any CTDs.
1028 on the other hand was causing plenty of crashes before even getting to the Medieval. So I'm back to 1027.
Or perhaps, can you as the creator of the lovely modules point me to the latest revision that works the best with Chronicles?

Is it really? I've autoplayed some games with Rev1028 and no crashes both with blitz and normal gamespeed. Were those games started with a different revision or new games from scratch with revision 1028?

They were new games from scratch, and with all Chronicles + MCP modules, as well as the music pack.
 
I started a game long ago - maybe before rev1000 with all modules and Chronicles1.2.
I kept playing and updating AND till 1025 Also updated MCP and Chronicles to 1.3 and never ever had a CTD. I reached the early Industrial.

Before publishing Ch1.2 when experimenting with modular terrain features I had a strange CTD after several turns when I tried to load a save game. The game became un-loadable with Jewels of the Land. Finally I tracked down the guilty features and removed so the game was okay.
