what about the risk of getting mauled by a bear every time you leave your house?

One of the Dakotas.

Fanning?

I would have no idea, since I have not been to every state, but I would not like to live anywhere that is too cold, thus Alaska would get my vote for being the coldest, and thus most boring for me.

What do you think the most boring state is? I'd probably say it would have to be, Wyoming, its all flat and sagebrush, except for the Northwestern part, (Yellowstone, Jackson Hole) but otherwise it isnt very.. uninteresting..
Discuss, what you think the most boring state is, i'm interested in hearing what everyone else thinks :p

Why is Florida even on there??????????

Florida has the Amusement Park capital of the US (Orlando) and Busch Gardens in Tampa.

New York has the city.

And, well, Arkansas, well, I guess most of you liberals can take pride in Bill Clinton being from there;)

I couldn't just add farm states or flat ones which IMO are very boring but some people may find the city boring idk...

I voted other.....

Now this may go against conventional thinking and be quite counter-intuitive but hear me out on which state is most boring. My vote is: Hawaii.

Before you flip out about this let me explain.

Prior to 9/11 and the wars, the military base that always had the highest suicide rate was Fort Shafter in Hawaii. Now, this sounds odd, but consider:

The beach is great....for the first couple of weeks. Then...its just 'the beach'...same ol, same ol.

Yeah, there are some cool things to see in Hawaii...but once you have seen them all...what then?

Your on an island...and that island is only so big. Once you have seen it all (and that doesnt take that long to be honest) what then?

Stuff is expensive in Hawaii, so you tend to run out of cash quick and are left with nothing to do.

People would go to Hawaii thinking its just way cool......see and do everything in less than a month...and then get bored to tears the rest of their time there, often getting homesick and depressed.....and it would get so bad they would kill themselves because of it.

Now thats boring.

Plus, it's 80 degrees and sunny, every single day. I would die after a week.

I mean one of the reasons I love Chicago is because of how much the weather varies :goodjob:

Idaho. Nothing more exciting than a big sack of potatoes.

Nooo, Idaho is pretty good, where I live at least.. A ski resort... but any south of that is farms.. I've gotta admit though most of Idaho is pretty bad..

I Can believe this.. because living there you do all the stuff while just going on vacation. its exactly that a vacation..

Farmville is the most boring to me, I voted Nebraska. I've never played guitar hero II, but as a travellin' van owner, i can confirm that it does take a REALLY long time to drive through. I imagine Kansas is at least as bad (at least they have a stop light in Lincoln).
