I always got domination. This bored me, so I turned it off.
Now I usually get conquest or Tower. I have gotten cultural (don't have the patience) or Altar (never seem can seem to get those last couple great prophets before I win some other way) but I have gotten a few religious ones.
Mostly conquest though. Crush and capitulate.

Dang, I forgot to include the Cultural Victory... Argh! Anyone ever won a cultural victory? Ever???
Yes, as Kuriotates. Found it remarkably easy with them.

My favorite victory condition is shiny thing syndrome, where I get the overwhelming urge to try out another race, and kind of abandon my current game.

I've never completed a game of FFH yet, despite having played a great many games.. But I started a calabim game on a Duel sized world last night, and I'm determined to finish that one.

I kind of wish the AI could recognise when they're hopelessly outclassed, and just capitulate to save the effort of going over there and invading them.
Ditto. I think I've officially finished 3-4 games, but started at least 10 times that many.

This plus the dear-goodness-the-lag-is-horrible condition make up most of mine. Otherwise I think I've won with the altar once; the Elohim are good for that.

My choice probably would have been Cultural, but missing that, I chose my second - Altar.

I find Cultural victories easy, depending a bit on the civ and luck you have in the game. If I can build the Grand Menagerie early in the game (usually in my capital), I am certain of legendary culture there. I then build the Wonders that give the most Culture (Syliven's Lyre, Religion holy buildings, etc.) in my second city. The third city is the main focus after that as any popped Great Bards get sent there to produce great works.

In the later game, I switch the cities to Culture and select the Liberty civic and any others that give Culture.

I almost think a "none" option should be included. Most of my games end due to lag/MAF. Ten turns - crash. Reload autosave - ten turns - crash. Repeat.

Cultural victory is easy. It is just plain boring as you do nothing but pressing return for a long row of turns. My favorite victory is conquest victory. Always a lot of action and reaction, at least if you have an worthy adversarity like the Hippus.

I don't disagree with you here. When I try for this type of Victory, I end up with one city at 50K + and the other two somewhere around 20K. Can't seem to find the way to get the other two cities high enough in prestige to win that way. Either that or I get bored at turn 400+ and give up.

Sure, do it all the time with the Kuriotates. Pretty consistent, and decently fast.

Most of my games are conquest though.

Note on Cultural. When playing Sidar (which i do alot) i get this one regularly.

But for the other civs its rather hard (still way easier than it looks if planned from the start and the tricks are known...)

I always have Cultural in the bag for a backup if my main victory goal for the game prooves too difficult. It is a habbit that I developed with Vanila. Develop 3 (and only 3) high culture cities and hold onto all GA incase they need to culture bomb a victory. In FfH it is easier because the Lute can be moved from one city to another to get +100% culture where it is needed.

Two tips if you are finding culture victories hard to achieve in FfH. Make sure to build all of the high culture wonders in your culture centers...don't split them up around the empire. Save all of your GA (and target the generation of GA through specialists) and beeline Devine Essence. Once the Blood of the Phoenix ritual is completed, you can use all of the GA to culture bomb twice!

Depends who I play as.
As Kurios, culture.
As Elohim, usually Altar, sometimes culture.
With Fall Further, culture as the Scions.
Conquest / Domination on smaller maps.
I go tower if i have lots of mana.
Usually I just pick a condition at the start and work on it without stopping.

I will join with the others in saying. Yes, with Sidar. In one of the most boring games I have ever played in FFH2.

However, mostly tower or domination for me. I have won a couple of time victories, also...I guess I voted Tower because I think it is a cool victory condition :)

Domination or conquest are the most straightforward. Other victories are very complicated, but then again, FFH2 is a complicated game.

One complaint I have with this mod is that there is no "space race" to wrap up the game. Good game designers generally make a game in a way such that at some point, there has to be a built-in mechanism that encourages the game to end. Ending the game after a number of turns with a "time victory" is poor design. The Armageddon counter's effect on diplomacy provides the gunpowder, but not the spark to light it up.

I forgot about moving the Lute... that alone should make a big difference.

Lute, Lyre, hell, they're both musical instruments with a cultural connotation, right? ;)

As I mentioned before, you can really add culture to the three cities you picked for the victory by using certain civics. Liberty is a must as it gives you 100% culture in your civ. Even Nature's Revolt can help a lot as you will get animals you didn't have before (+Culture) for your Carnivals. Of course, the Grand Menagerie is one of the best Wonders for a culture victory!

The only civ with which I consider cultural victory to be interesting are the Infernals. After adopting Liberty you can use 100 artists and your cultural victory is profitting by war as with every razed city you get more people you can use as an artist.

Oh, wow. I guess it's true what they say about suffering and art!
