So many I have, its kind of hard to start.
Company of Heroes, Age of Empires II, World in Conflict, Call of Duty 4, Team Fortress 2, Half-Life 2, Simcity 4 Deluxe, Medal of Honor: Airborne (Laugh, I know), Civilization 3 and 4, Hearts of Iron 2 & Expansions/Mods, The Movies, Stubbs the Zombie, GTA Vice City and San Andreas, and Democracy 2.

I used to play AOE2:TC a lot back in the day with some friends. I could never be better than grook though. I would agree that 3v3 or 4v4 is better than any other settings 
My favourite game though, is Master of Magic. This is the only game I have played over and over again
The other good ones are Arcanum, MOO2, Kotor2, Darklands, & CivBTS

I tried it. But i got stuck on the 3rd day so i quit playing it. Once the prices for food&anything skyrocketed it went downhill for me since i didn't have money and barely survived 3 days. As bachelor i was supposed to kill 3 guys in the cemetary to get a sample from a body. Needless to say, 2 bullets weren't enough to kill all 3. Not even 1 of them actually. So i gave up.
Yes, wizardry8 - one of the best games out there.
As for me, i can't even think of a fav game per genre.

You aren't supposed to kill them. The screen should fade to black after the fight starts and you'll teleport to Saburov's house. He orders the patrolmen to go away and you can then freely pick up the tissueI tried it. But i got stuck on the 3rd day so i quit playing it.
