Do you honestly, and I mean honestly, think the republicans have any better or worse work ethic than the democrats do? Both parties are probably rife with people that have schedules like that. To try and claim some type of moral highground on this issue is just silly beyond words.

Regardless if the intent of the OP was a partisan attack or not, I do find it ridiculous that Senators and/or Representatives don't work, at least on average, a good 50+ hour 5 or 6 day week. I don't begrudge them long vacation periods, and I know Congress adjourns for extended periods, but when it is in session, I expect my reps to be working their collective butts off for me.
