Pontiuth Pilate
Republican Jesus!
Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, the Maryland Democrat who will become House majority leader and is writing the schedule for the next Congress, said members should expect longer hours than the brief week they have grown accustomed to [...]
"Keeping us up here eats away at families," said Rep. Jack Kingston (R-Ga.), who typically flies home on Thursdays and returns to Washington on Tuesdays. "Marriages suffer. The Democrats could care less about families -- that's what this says."
Poor baby has a one-and-a-half day work week at $160,000 a year signing legislation lobbyists write for him. I'm sooooo moved.

Hoyer should just say, "The Republicans aren't required to follow the extended schedule. In fact, we encourage them not to. The fewer votes Republicans cast, the better off the country is. Plus, more time home means less time in Washington molesting underage boys."
