Most scary/occult/monstrous image?

It can be from a painting or any other decorative art (eg from a game)

There arent imo many such images, since it is hard to paint something really dark/frightening.

There is a drawing by a painter possible named something like "Luis Ervie" (i only know the name in greek) of one of Baudelaire's poems. The poem is "to her who was too beautiful", and the drawing shows a monkey playing a classical quitar, for a really hideous creature- which looks mostly like a burned baby- to dance on top of a cheap carpet.

I tried finding it online, but i couldnt even find the artist :)
 
Dunno the names of the actual paintings but Milton has a few.

It's a guy I (closely) know that's setting up the site, it's basically under construciton right now. He knows what he's doing, and (among his many other business ventures) he's trying to help people defend their computers. He's mainly catering to businesses, but this 'game' as he calls it can be tried by anyone. He has many other services (like email masking, etc.), that he's working on. Whatever ends up happing w/ trickr.com, expect it to be bare-bones price. Probably free. Either that, or a 1-time, 1-dollar charge. Anyway, there's lots of people (mostly that we just know personally) that are interested, and waiting for the 'game' the be brought online.

It was originally intended for business use... so companies could train their employees not to fall for all the lame stuff they do (#1 source of corporate espionage... just call and ask them, or send an email). People just assume it's no big deal.

Anyway, sorry to be off topic. But yeah, first time I went there, I commented to him on that green face thing, seemed a little freaky.

This guy is the Mel Gibson (in Conspiracy Theory) of internet fraud/espionage, etc. That's his business. Has been, for decades (network analysis anyway). Fortunately, he's one of the good guys. He actually knows how to combat all the malware elements on the 'net (which there are many... amateurs, and the pros (Russian mafia, etc.)). Taking the fight to them, and someday perhaps eliminating them entirely, is the goal. Anyway, that little site is just one of his many, many pet projects of late.

;) Nah, your browser's working. It's just that the guy who made the page knows so many advanced internet-related tricks/techniques, if he wasn't my own flesh & blood, I'd be scared of him. Hopefully he'll take me on as a business partner soon, and teach me some of the tricks of his trade, because right now (even though I like to consider myself PC & 'net literate) I feel like an idiot, because I can't even begin to explain some of the stuff.

Anyway, forget about it. If there's ever a service that you guys might find valuable in such a way that you can help protect youselves, I'll come back here when it's up & running and let you know (probably not a violation of forum rules, since likely the service(s) will be free).

I first though of Brueghel's The Triumph of Death.

Though his The Big Fish Eat the Small Ones is quite strange in its own right, though not really in a scary way.
