Regardless of the votes, it seems that we will definately be starting an mp game of Civ MGE so go over to:

It will be a similar game to our current democracy game but instead of just one human civ, there will be three human civs. This means that everyone will be split evenly into the three teams and you can choose which civ you want to be in here:

So far the three civs are going to be the Evil empire and then two more Civs with Cornmaster and Pellaken as president for each.

Also the new MP game will in no way be in conflict with this game so it is fine for people to join both and have cabinet postions in both games...
 
The Evil Council has about 7 people and the others have got 2 or 3 each. They're never going to be able to have fair teams really. But it'll be interesting to see how things go. I don't know how interesting it will be for those who are not participating because all the threads are locked against non-members so we can't see anything. Maybe they should start a bragging thread just to give non-players an inkling of what's going on. Maybe this post should actually be on the Gamecatcher site. Oops. ;)

Did you post that in Gamecatcher? You should... but seriously, join up.
 
Cornmaster'[s team has 4 members I believe so we can play the game. Also having less members may actually have more benefits...

Actually, our team (Corn's) has 5 players, while pell's has 4. That's enough, but we're always looking for more.
 
C'mon people! COme to Gamecatcher!!!!! We need more players, and this game has few players left.

I am getting fed up with the lack of players and motivation here... I can't see why nobody wants to play the Multiplayer Game. And few players are playing here even! Aw, comon!

I don't even feel like playing here anymore! Because nobody else is playing anymore... but everyone just play, and encourage others to play, and come to Gamecatcher and play there too.
 
This is what happens when you split a game in half...A few people stayed loyal whilst a few more decided to join the mp game and then all the rest decided to just quit all democracy games...

And now people are playing the Civ3 game.... and some are leaving here methinks to play that OTHER one...:(
 
I'm sorry, but can we kill this thread? Or at least un-sticky it and let it drop.

People complain about this game being almost dead, but we are advertising about a competing game...:confused:

I know the two games don't conflict each other, so people can play both, but most people are only playing one or the other, not both.
 
Yeah, a small lot of us committed ppl will like to see this game to the end, regardless of how exciting the MP game is. :rolleyes: :p

Ideally we all shld be able to play Civ all day long and post here all day long but some of us ordinary mortals got real-life jobs and commitments to take care of, you know. :p :lol:
 
I'm with Knight-Dragon on this one :goodjob: I barely have time to play in this game. I only can because I purposely stay away from all cabinet positions so if I'm not around for awhile (which happens often) I"m not missed so much. I just don't get in on all the votes. I don't think that would be fair to saddle a team in an MP game with me :D. I'm only reading this thread 'cause nothing else seems to be happening here at the moment (the one day I've got plenty of time :rolleyes:

Seeing things through to the end is often a problem here in CFC (probably in this virtual reality we call the 'net in general). It happened all the time in the succession games and elsewhere. Personally, I like to finish what I start, but if this game dies, so be it.
