I keep getting timeouts, or thrown out of the game "We have lost our connection to the PitBoss! Exiting to main menu...". Plus freezing on file transfer phase.

(and no, nothing wrong with my router or machine conf)

Whiplash, what was your ISP again? Time Warner? We should smack them good.

Perhaps I should try an host again. Maybe whatever the isp problem I had has cleared up. Failing that maybe I could host without hamachi as whiplash does.

Well, the problems of the last few days are a result of my ISP intermitantly cutting the service. This could be due to the construction down the street from me.

If anybody misses the turn due to unavailability let me know and I can reload.

Whip i get 2 emails when a new turn starts: one from civstat and one from game server i guess. Please remove the second one if you can. Thanks.

YOu can do that manually since all you have to do is remove your email address from the game and you do not receve any emails from the game.

The only way for me to do that would be to remove my smtp address from the PitBoss setup. That would result in every player not getting the notice from the game. I'm not sure that all players are hooked up with civstats.

Sorry played out of turn. But did nothing significant. Just hit the big red button. I was half asleep when trying to log in to another game. The ip address for this game was already in the box. So I plugged in the password before realising it was the earth game.
