[MULT] Pitboss Worldbuilding Challenge

Seriously? Okay, I'm fine with leaving out DLCs (Polynesia was gonna be my second choice), but then CPM took Arabia? Rrraaghfh. Arabia was my first choice! I already write down city names! Names if cities and civilizations will happen at the end of each era, when we have down-time to rename cities and nations. These names might change throughout history too.

I also got a sixth (seventh?) worldbuilder to sign up (we had dinner, talked it over). So we have six or less people to recruit now.

In conclusion: rrawrg Arabia will be mine!

I can always play someone else...if you'd prefer to be Arabia, feel free to take it (as you are by way of being the organizer of this!) Or we can have two Arabias in the game, which could be rather interesting, actually.

Oh, also Indonesia was my third choice. Goddammit. Guess I'll be rethinking this approach for sure.

Why can't you play Indonesia? It's from BNW, which Heerlo has.

some changes in my schedule have increased my odds for being on game. so once a day i can just enter my move if i read it correctly? still unsure, but its a chance. i would love to play with heerlo.

Well I'll probably have a timer for 48 hours (just in case someone can't get a turn in one day), but everyone should try to get in a turn (and then write the history, development of culture, etc.) every day. This process should take a half-hour at most, possibly including the time interacting with neighboring civs (there should definitely be some nice cultural diffusion going on). So if you want to join, be prepared to take around a half-hour each day to play with us. And be sure to worldbuild real nice-like.

Could you manage?

Heerlo stole Indonesia from me. I'm liking the idea of Spain now, but they're a gambling civ I dunno how I feel about gamblers. How about at in five minutes (1 EST), we type either rock paper or scissors to decide who receives Arabia?

No, no, he didn't steal Indonesia. He wasn't referring to Gajah Mada, he was referring to a succession game he and I are playing in where I refer to my avatar (the Exalted Majah of Raspur) as the leader of the nation.
EDIT: Also, I was off running an errand when you suggested to do Rock/Paper/Scissors.

Oh sweet, so maybe I can still have Indo.
Well, when the clock strikes 3 EST, then can you type rock paper or scissors?

I've been generating and fixing seven Perfectworld3 maps, making sure off-shore islands are still beneficial, and that Krakatoa isn't detached. Most have one large landmass with several mountain ranges. I'll randomly select one for the game.

Sure, I guess, but if you really want Arabia, I'll just take Poland.

Forget this, it's getting silly. Two Arabias it is.
...ah, yes, only on CivFanatics will you find people playing Rock-Paper-Scissors online to figure out who they're going to play as.

EDIT:

Okay. Two Arabias it is. We'll see how this goes
(should I browse my seven world options for ones with especially large deserts (or two deserts)?)

You may want to. Sorry about that; online Rock-Paper-Scissors is probably not the best idea for resolving conflicts...

I just went into Civ V. Went to "Mods" section. Set up a game as Isabella. One free tech, ancient era, quick pace. King.
I said "If I find a natural wonder by turn 30, I'm going to play as Isabella instead."
And though that's a poor decision, as I feel like Arabia's bazaars are going to destroy the world in terms of gold output, I'm going to keep to my promise.
