[MULT] Pitboss Worldbuilding Challenge

He might be the second player sillsworth recruited from his worldbuilding group or something like that.

Yeah that's it. Goddammit I told him to get on and install GMR. Okay. He's doing exams too. Still though, I'll go tell him again that he's the last person to sign up for this.

From the GMR page: Last invite has been sent out. Game should start at 11 AM (approximate) in the morning, tomorrow, EST. You don't have to be online when it starts. Just make and record your turn within a day. I'll be posting some instructions on the forum page, a subforum is still in talk/development.

dont you still have to give us the download link for the updated map? or is one of your messages edited to have it?

Okay, uh, last minute game thing I found out and somehow didn't know about: There are no ruins. None. This is the weirdest thing. Why are there no ruins? Am I going to have to place all the ruins in? I mean, I'll do it, but it's weird. "No Ancient Ruins" is not on. Probably because I edited the map. Hurm.

@sh3baproject - We shouldn't need to have the map, since we're playing through GMR. However, if sillsworth wants to send it out that's fine.

@sillsworth - No idea why there are no ruins. That's just weird.

Anyway, looking forward to getting this underway!

Aah! Credentials for what? I can write well. And yes I'll try to keep up, of course. :)

Do you mean like making maps and stuff? No I don't know how to do that. Would I need to? As for writing,...just give me a second

Worldbuilding is just the act of creation an unreal or unrealistic universe/setting, usually built around a concept or theme (fantasty, sci-fi, Arabic, etc.). We'll be worldbuilding, writing tons of notes on our developing civilization and it's great people, religion, food & culture, etc. You should be partially versed in these elements, or the creation of a world.
I've seen worldbuilders who started out as mapmakers, writers, anime viewers, abstract artists, etc. The interest comes from a lot of different backgrounds and is, at least for me, easy to do.

I'd still be interested in seeing what you have, and listening to more, though.

Oh, I misunderstood. Yes I can definitely do that. Although I haven't done it before, I have read many before. Also, I am studying history, I f that makes a difference. I would consider myself well versed in world history, including all the elements you mentioned

Is it alright, if it's totally unrelated?

Well, yeah, I guess. Hopefully you don't write biographies and pamphlets and are hoping to jump into a semi-fantastical worldbuilding jam, but as long as you think you can apply your skills to this, then sure, I'd like to see it.
