In multiplayer there is a large black box filled with civilization logos in the top centre of the screen. It's completely opaque, and normally this would be fine as you can just scroll up to see tiles that are beneath it.
However, it overlaps considerably with the text that tells you what is on a tile to the left of the minimap. So much so that you can barely read what it says on a normal tile, and all of the details of the tile yields are completely obscured when a trade route also passes through the tile.
