Multipolarity II - Game Thread

God damn it, why do some players (cough) have to attack other players and cause them to leave?

Now who will the Russians eat?? :(
I loved the Formattic racism element of the game. It was fun and I could have seen a war brewing, perhaps even a global war.

Shame such a wonderful and creative element of this game is lost.
:(

4 down already? Man this pool is shrinking. I'm gonna have to seriously think what to do with all these freed up nations! :p

The testing chambers aren't even that lethal yet... :(

So let me recap, I have to decide the fates of:

-Bengal
-Prussia
-Formatistan

P_F, I believe you mean this video:

No way, Throvald, three more NPCs would cause your head to explode. I mean JEEZ. THREE?

Getting attacked is not a valid reason to leave and it is preposterous to lay guilt with the attacker when the attacked quits...

Because this is Imperium Offtopicum and therefore, acts of imperialism and attacking other players is an awful thing to do.

Why are aggressors so universally hated unless either me or Tyo are getting attacked? I want to be able to invade whoever I want without discretion.

The thing is sneak attacks and so. Sneakyness isn't well seen by most people.

Sneak attacks aren't so bad. Besides the fact they're realistic (even if some say they should be disallowed due to radar tech and stuff, but this forgets that I don't care for realism as much as my GM peers), there's also the idea of NPC hordes ganging up on you. I've always threatened that in rulesets but have rarely ever done it in recent games.

Which is also why I'm in such turmoil trying to decide what to do with the three vacated nations. I think Thorvald has enough on his plate, but at the same time, I don't want to risk the hilarity that Oz and Italy had in MP1. I think they'll possibly all descend into civil war and I'll need to detail factions.

Bring it on:cool:

How 'bout gameplay? Do you care about gameplay?

Katterland reminds Oz that Formatistan has a nice vassal treaty with Katterland, and that applies to the successor regime of the formatting crew.

Do I need to send orders? Please someone UPDATE me.

BTW, if I had a girlfriend or a slave, I would force her to read all the posts and tell me what the hell the other countries (and terrorists) have done.

Mandatum has done something.

That all we saying publically this round of operations... for now.

MP1 was half about paranoia - which is why I hide the military stats.

Sneak attack ability just makes it even better to stoke that paranoia.

Portugal was supposed to stay east of the Tordesillas line.

Germany had an obligation to keep its troops below a certain level and keep the Rhineland demilitarised.

The US did not sign the Rights of the Child while the likes of Iran and Saudi Arabia did.

Japan has an obligation to keep its troops purely defensive and under the auspices of US oversight.

The point is, treaties can be broken as soon as when convenient, which can often be before the ink dries. :p

My sheet says no Peru orders yet.
