Multipolarity III - Game Thread

No, Romney did. Well, there's no Romney anymore, that should explain everything! I'm surprised that Romnesian clients are still clients of the Nazis...

Those who fail to remember history are doomed to repeat it. It appears that the Namibian government failed to study 20th Century history, particularly the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. The parallels between the situation of Nazi Germany then and Namibia now are quite stark with the only difference being who betrayed whom.

If you have studied the history of USSR, then you would know that while at first USSR lost battle after battle in WWII, in the end they won the war.

Ahem. Are you a complete fool. The USSR did do that yes. guess what else the USSR had you didn't: one of the worlds largest populations, one of the strongest economies in the world, and by the time they started regaining large swaths of their territory, they had the best tank in the world and one of the best trained armies. oh, and they only had a single front to fight, while nazi Germany had two fronts, was up against over 50% of the world population, 80% of the global GDP, and it's only real ally was getting its ass kicked by the US. The Pacific front was lower on the chain for new stuff and supplies. yet Japan was still getting it's ass kicked. They literally had 6 months to they day of victories, followed by a three year quagmire of defeats...with no victorys at all. Italy as soon as possible jumped ship and joined the Allies, as the King didn't want to have even joined the Axis, but Mussolini had the support of the military to a much greater extent.

You have one of the weaker militaries, you have a two front war, one of the enemies having equipment you gave them, you are technically at war with three nations at least, you have managed to make yourself a international pariah, you have already started to lose, and the only saving grace is that Romney isn't well liked either. Just....you still are in a three way war. also, you have a rather weak economy compared to most major nations.

You are the fool. Namibia, just before the Romnesian invasion had the worlds largest population. Also we still can win. And many nations like us and hate the Nazi. Are you payed by the Nazi to do propaganda for them?

The Foundation is a ally of the Imperium of Man! They helped us!

Also keep in mind your successes in the first war against Romney was part of a massive plan involving a plot set to destroy Romney's navy, notably also that Romney suffered from a decline in the amount of allies he had slowly (note Algeria and Tropico) along with his fronts being many, especilly ending with Greenland and Iceland being lost... then he broke the peace oath from the treatry the Imperium made after they felt "we amazed enough," resulting in both a current deadlock for Domney has his popularity declines from his oath breaking, his nation being endangered despite the Imperium having to withdrew from conflict over the "got a bit taken off it from a bigger fish" scence.

Just realised, but aren't these guys, you know, at war? Why weren't they fighting each other?

DT

They changed government.

Actually Namibia is wrong once again. As the Blood Empire has stated MULTIPLE times, it is not an official ally of Romney, when they put up the embargo again we had no choice, if we wished to remain part of the international community, but to help in its destruction. The Blood Empire is in the same state as Japan, officially at war with Romney until it negotiates a peace.

We would like to thank the captains of the Namibian ships that helped us in dismantling the embargo, it shows promise for the future of the Namibian people that they would willing work with us when they realised we could be an ally in that particular theatre. It is a shame that the Namibian people do not rise up and ask for peace themselves. We are always willing to give it.

It seems that the Blood Spies were correct and Namibia launched a Zerg rush with no tactics. With it's fleet elsewhere we can retake the coastal provinces at our leisure while the armies of Blood and Lucifer march north. We will once again offer you the chance to apologise for starting this war and negotiate a peace. But it becomes increasingly clear that you allow many innocents to die simply because of pride. While on one hand it is amusing to see such a example of one of the deadly sins it is also baffling when all we wanted to do was drive a point home, not invade and conquer you. If we win we may have to give the land to someone else. Why would we want it?

Okay. I can stand failure. I can stand losing a war. What I can't stand is someone completely backstabbing me, despite having fairly WON. That is a completely...hell, I can't even say it on CFC without getting a ban.
Therefore.
I quit as Poland, and am going to rejoin as an NGO.

Japan condemns Russia for its most treacherous behaviour in violating a treaty it had imposed upon the nation of Poland, in spite of having itself forced it upon Poland as the winner party in the previous phase of the confrontation. Japan hereby embargoes Russia and encourages both its clients, friendly nations and even enemies to do the same.

Cathisis: The Spammer's Crusade embargoes Russia and condemns them for their actions, which has recently caused the Polish president to commit suicide. We will not stand for this. We will assist the Pope in any actions that could help liberate Poland.

OOC: now hears an idea for a IOT. All players start out as a NGO. The NPCs will do their own thing, while we play the massive shadow war.

OOC: Sounds like an interesting plan, why don't you make it?

OOC: I have never GMed a game.

OOC: That's no excuse and you know it. If no one ever did anything because they had never done it before we would be left with nothing. First time for everything and all that.

Russia wishes it to be known that the peace treaty was actually imprinted with the Tsar's left nipple, as opposed to the Tsar's right nipple, as Russian law mandates.

Actually Sonereal and myself have both thought of that kind of game. We're just usually too busy with something else to bother. :p

So if I'm not mistaken new NGOs are:

>SamSniped
>Aiolos
>Possibly PF
>Possibly Sonereal
>Possibly Christos

We have 2 NGOs but... I'm gonna have to limit the number here soon enough. :p

.... wat.

Republic of Poland
To: The Papal States

In the wake of the government's collapse, the new Polish government petitions the Papal States to extend its hand of assistance to the devoutly Catholic Poles.

Poland offers a carbon copy of the treaty with Manx to the Papacy:

-Poland shall use half of its influence for Papal purposes
-Poland shall pay a 10% annual tithe
-Poland shall vest the Pope with control of its foreign policy and military
-The Papacy, in exchange for these great gifts, shall protect Poland from aggression

We can at least understand Romney breaking his peace treaty as it was not in what he viewed as his favour. But Russia got a large amount of land from the peace treaty it broke. Thus it acted entirely in Greed and Malevolence.

Bravo. *slow clap*

Now if the rest of the world considers itself virtuous, they should all decry Russia and make as large an action against it. The Blood Empire would of course do the same. But we have to force a peace treaty out of Namibia before its mad leader forces us to Genocide the population.
