Music

In the full version of my pack, both of these games tracks are on Modern and Modern exclusively, though a certain other ignominy has a single (IIRC) track in Industrial.

I really ought to make a listing chart sometime... would save some folks a lot of trouble if they want to find my pack or just the tracks individually.

Aren't those copyright?
Can be considered abandonware, especially the first one. The problem is the rights belong to EA. And they have quite a possibility, to make your life really sh*tty, no matter how reasonable your claims would be.

Yeh quite. Use of copyright material is a good way to get the entire mod shut down permanently.

In the past I noticed some files of the form PTB[x].mp3 and SOG[x].mp3. Do those ever appear in the game? If they are in V33, I haven't played enough to know yet.

I really like the music made by nox arcana for gameplay. For those interested, here is a playlist from youtube. It was originally used by a mod from FfH2 (Wildmana) but it has so many different themes that there is bound to be something good for every era :egypt:

Just remove one http:// . ;)

I have a question directly for YOU!

Are you going to help out in actual modding or just talking (writing) and stuff here in the C2C forum?? (Just wondering?)

Why, but I just helped. I said you how to get to this page, which may result in some new music for C2C. :) I found a way, to reduce the memory requirement of plots, found some bugs, pointed a way which has potential for very serious speedup of turns evaluation, pointed a way of making fine quality xml editor and few other ideas. Or do you consider only coding a help?

As I've said, if you would decide to develop a new engine, I could direct more of my time to this project. But with this engine I see some limitations, which IMO bring a little chance to make C2C serious (still, I can be wrong, as I still don't know for sure, what is managed by DLL and what by the engine). -- Believe me, even in my agonising state, I can still have some valuable work to do.

Besides the file of the structure, which I want to contribute to C2C, has already 1200 non-empty lines + 400 of tests and is the most complex c++ code piece I ever written. So suggesting big-mouthing-doing-nothing here is, well, little rude.

Again you talk in riddles, and i have no idea what you are saying (especially about rude, there was infact nothing there about it, DUH!.

What i meant was and it is NOT pertaining to the above post before the question i made in post # 34. Infact my question has nothing to do with it.

My question was a "general" question.

Are you planning on helping out in C2C with regular modding, or not, very simple. If not, than are you planning on doing what you are doing (writing) stuff down and helping that way, NOW do you understand what i am saying:hmm::think::think:

I can do about 1-2gb worth of Music in a separate installer. I can find creative commons licensed mp3 easily. If people can download 10GBs of Skyrim mods, I'm sure there are a few that would look a big music pack.

Pls only war type music like ThePreHistoryChannel, low sounding stuff, or maybe we can set it up differently for each culture we play different?? I hate Sim City stuff :yuck:

You mean ambient (bird sounds) and orchestral ? I was thinking of matching the music to the era.
