Alright, so in the future when a couple of civ 5 mods are released an updated, I want to make my own story for Civ 5. There will be gameplay and screenshots, but there will mostly be stories following mostly the ruler of the empire, and different individuals and their families. But I want to know what you guys think what Civ I should do. I

I have a couple of ideas:

1. Great Britannia.

This is the one I've been thinking of for a while. I will be playing as Elizabeth with the YnAEMP. You will see the rise of the English (British) empire, through wars (100 years war if I can get that going :D), occupation, Colonization of the New World, and trials and tribulations, as well as happier times for the English people, and the royal family (there will be A LOT of drama in this). You will also read about things such as religions getting involved in the world (specifically Islam ;)), and houses trying to secure thrones. Starts from the beginning of the game. (Note that I'm about half way done typing the introduction and beginning)

2. Yekaterina.

Another one I've been thinking. I will be playing as Catherine on the YnAEMP. You will see the expansion of the Russian Empire, starting from a country that is on the brink of destruction, to a country that is the star of the enlightenment. I will try to make the Russian Empire as big as possible (and as realistic). I think I will actually start recording down stores while the game is in the 11th century.

3. A Woman's Work.

Another idea based on China. I will be playing as Wu Zetian on the YnAEMP, as she raises a country from being drowned in numerous wars, to the great empire of the east. Many bloody (yet appropriate) stories are included. I will probably start this one in the 7th century, where Wu Zetian rose the the throne.

4. Divine Caliphate.

Another idea based on Arabia, on the YnAEMP. I will be playing as Harun-al-Rashid, and create the great Arabian Empire, taking Persia, and northern Africa, and spreading faith around the world. I will probably include a lot of religious tales in this (Note that I am a Pentecostal Christian, so I may need a bit of help with this :S). Probably starting this one from the beginning.

Please vote, because I've been doing a bit of planning for a while with all of them. Don't forget to give your own ideas. Thanks!

(P.S: These are all on the YnAEMP, so please do not tell me which map I should use ^.^)

And thats my vote :D

Great Britain!!!!!!!

Fairly obvious what i voted for, given my forum history and past user name ;)

Great Britannia and perhaps you could throw in Lord Nelson and John Churchill here and there! BTW fantastic idea, good luck, and I'll be looking forward to it.

Interestingly enough, I was thinking of doing a story on France, or Japan. I love the YnAEMP Giant Earth Map, that is all I play on now.

So, I think I'm going to go with Great Britannia. Here, I'm going to introduce some characters, as well as civlizations and city states that will have a good amount of influence in the story.

Civilizations:

France (the BIGGEST one. You will see a lot of drama with the french in the story)
Spain
Germany
Ottomans (responsible for spreading Islam in Europe, some civs do not like that :P)
Iroquois
Inca
Aztec (You will get more info on the Inca and the Aztec in the story. It's all about European drama ^.^)
Persia (maybe)

City States:
Edinburgh (Scotland. If not France, will see drama with the Scottish in the story.)
Lisbon (Portugal)
Vienna (Austria)
Monaco or Genoa (whichever appears in the game)
Ulundi
Dublin (Ireland, maybe, probably not that much, though)
Rome (Catholic Church)
There's probably going be a lot more influential civs/city states, but we will see as the story progresses.

The advisors will also be playing rolls in the stories.

Military Advisor - Harmen - Harmen is a very hard worker. Originally, he is strongly opposed to the reign of Elizabeth, but his faith and friendship in her grew. He can be very hotheaded and temperamental, but he is shown to have a very kind and soft side inside of him. He hates warmongering, except when it comes to the French.

Scientific Advisor - Alfred - Alfred is quite a laid back person. Originally, along with Harmen, he was opposed to the reign of Elizabeth (wasn't as open or hated it as much as Harmen), but grew to accept it. He is a very intellectual person, his intellect surpassing Elizabeth in certain areas. His race is unknown, but he does have an english accent.

Economic Advisor - Barbara - Barbara is quite a serious person, and seems to not have that much time for leisure or fun. She sometimes works herself to death. Though she can be kind of vain, she is a fair person, and if you do things right, she can be one of your best friends.

Foreign Advistor - Amy - Amy is a fun loving person. Who wouldn't be when you can travel all over the world, from Gao, Songhai, to Seoul, Korea? She is often scolded by Barbara for not being serious enough in her work, and having too much fun where it's not needed. Amy is great at her job, and is also shown to have an extremely serious, and harsh side. Along with Alfred, her race isn't known, but her accent seems to be a bit of a mixture of a Scottish/English one.

I think Elizabeth will have lovers through every era, and have about 3 children. 2 out of politics, and 1 out of love. I'm not going give you the names, descriptions, or anything about them, at the moment ;)

I think that's all for now...

Alright, so I've been debating with myself over this....here is the question:

Should I do this in Civ IV?

I would be using Rise of Mankind: A New Dawn, and it will probably be on Snail or Eternity :P

I downloaded the Mega Civ Pack for it, and I am searching for a TSL map for it (I may have already found it).

What do you guys think? With the Mega Civ pack, I won't even need city states to fill in the holes, I think.
