Napoleonic Sets

I've given up. They look like great units but I have little experience modding.

It was much easier to add new units into Civ3.

British, American, French, Austrian, Prussian, and Russian Line Infantry.

Any chance of getting the Austrian Line Infantry with a civ-coloured jacket? That way, he can be used as a generic unit.

I think someone else already did that. I can't remember if it has the shako though.

Any idea where it is? In a mod somewhere or on it's own?

I don't have a clue where it is besides I saw it in this forum. I think 'teamcolor' is in the name.

Yeah, that was the one I was thinking of. I guess I forgot it was based off the redcoat instead of the Austrian infantry.
Sorry about that.

I downloaded these files from x page here, I can't remember which exactly, but i kept it on my hard drive so now you can download it. These are ALL teamcoloured! :)

P.S. Now I noticed when zulu9812 posted his last post. Nevermind, maybe someone else...

Thanks very much, this will be very helpful.

EDIT: Actually, there's no Line Infantry in that pack. Any chance of making that unit team coloured?

I'm still figuring out how to make an unit TC, i'll answer if i make any progress.

It'd be simple enough, the question is if I can find the time to do it. At the moment I am working on a couple of English Civil War units (or rather, starting.) I don't have much time at all, just a little bit over the holidays, as any urge to create will likely once again disappear when I return to school.

I will try to reupload all the sets to CFC directly, once I get back to my own PC, however.

Thanks for these models. They look excellent.

I'm making a Napoleonic Wars Mod/Scenario, but they don't seem to be working for me. The arm and rifle positions for the line infantry are messed up. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Here's my artdefines_unit entry:

And here's how they appear in-game:

Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Edit: Yeah I was using the wrong animation. Fixed now, thanks.

Whenever you get those crampings, it propably means that this unit uses the animation of a UU that is related to the unit in question. Regarding the other units, this one most likely uses the .kfm from the English Red Coat.
