Sure, but just because certain parts of the world contain Russians doesn't mean that those parts should be a part of Russia, especially since Russians rulers have made very spcific attempts to Russianize those parts while attempting to eradicate local culture and customs.

well Russia did rule that place for like 800 years. As I recall, wasn't Kiev one of the original Russian states ( with Novgorod and Moscow)?
