Flektarn, is that also called "alpenflage?" A dot-based pattern with a rusty orange color in it like this:

Yeah, thats flecktarn and alpenflage is very similar but with splodges more than dots and slightly different colours:

EDIT: With all the new badass new infantry gear i can't wait for the UK, US, and Germany to have another war, maybe even a 3 on 3, and lets hope for an oil crisis aswell so tanks can't shorten the war.

I would like to see generic looking cold war infantry with an AK-47. It could be used for numerous countries and would be great for alot of mods/scenarios.

1. Female Commando
2. Bedouin w/ AK-47
3. Standard Russian Soldier w/ AK-47 or 74
4. US Ranger in Desert Gear w/ M-4
5. Generic African Soldier w/ AK-47
6. Winter Camo Soldier
7. Some kind of PLA Soldier
8. Generic Arab Soldier
9. Generic Indian Soldier (need some ideas)
10. German Soldier w/ G36
11. Maybe something else to round out the modern infantry lines, or more likely I'll move on to some future era infantry

And your female commando, is very good! And definitly to an attack b with the knife (and if possible an alternate fortify). It could be useful for... something else

Looks good. The thicker gun will show up good at civ scale.
Maybe give her longer hair to make her gender more obvious.
The camo is not evenly distributed on her arms. Looks a bit off.
Since it is skin tight, maybe just a t-shirt instead of winter underwear with no coat. Not sure about the roll down boots. I guess it is just a fashion statement. Some way to try and make her look more effeminate. I think the longer hair might help more there. The roll down boots don't suck, but they do look anomolous.

It looks cool - kind of an odd choice for a weapon, though. If it's a commando unit can you put a silencer on the end of it?

That's a lot of units you plan on doing! I know you have a lot on your plate already but would you ever be interested in doing an SAS or urban counterterrorist type of unit? That would be black uniform, gas mask, rappelling gear, etc.

Great preview NavyDawg - would be nice if you could have a knife attack.

I'm sure theres already an SAS unit, but it uses a shotgun i think.

The SAS is a colour conversion from Balou's Spetsnaz, so it's supposed to use an Akaban An94

That would be more usefull and distinctive if you used an m-4 with m203 grenade launcher and made an extra attack using the grenade launcher.

That's a good idea, a grenade attack would make it stand apart from the others.

Ahhh.... the curse of the good unit maker. Soon as you make 1 or 2 halfway decent units, the requests never stop. That's why I'm a giant sourpuss... Poeple don't want to deal with me so I never have to deal with them.
