RED forces dug in and awaited orders. Red soldiers were seen playing card games and drinking bottles of unknown liquids.

Combined AQUA forces piled southwards. At the docks in D9, more anarchist troopers joined the Aqua (Nationalist) army.
A fierce fire-fight broke out in the city at E8. Anarchist tanks and troops tried to hold the city in the face of heavy firepower from the Aqua forces. Eventually the tanks retreated across the western bridge, trailing smoke and flames. But some Anarchist troopers stubbornly refused to budge. It is rumoured that Anarchist leader, Xolniu, made a secret visit to the front lines to inspire his men.
The Anarchist gunboat at F6 was seen aiming its guns in the direction of Aqua's advance.
SPECIAL: Neverwonagame's men captured a transport ship next to the docks at D9. Onboard they found a stash of heavy weapons, which can be used to upgrade the firepower of one of their team's units.
GREEN forces led by MooseWarrior's Heavy Troopers faced continued resistance from the Anarchists, who eventually fell back to fortified positions in the city at G7. Light tanks have maintained pressure but seem unable to break through. MooseWarrior bravely fought on after being wounded, but he and his men eventually retreated to the captured docks at G9 for medical treatment.
Other green soldiers gained recruits from the southern jungles. The Humvee squad at I8 has avoided combat and is in negotiations to surrender to MooseWarrior, although they are hesitating about it.
SPECIAL: MooseWarrior's soldiers found a hidden pit in the jungle, containing strange, large, ferocious crab-like creatures, possibly the remains of some abandoned science experiment. The creatures stirred to life and seem to have imprinted on the soldiers as being their parents. Their claws would be dangerous, even to vehicles. Will the Green soldiers attempt to use the creatures against their enemies, or kill the creatures now to be on the safe side?

Gold command sent a Missile Artillery unit as backup for Commander Thlayli's tanks.
SPECIAL: Gold troops in the city at J7 have been approached by an unknown civilian, offering to sell secret information (which will be PM'ed to Thlayli) in exchange for $1 worth of supplies to help all the innocent refugees.
OTHER: an Anarchist transport jet crashed in the swampy jungle at G3, due to unknown causes. Some unmarked cargo crates survived the crash and have been scattered across the surroundings
INCOME:
All sides gained $2, again.
NOTES:
Note that bridges can be blown up (!), but they can also be repaired later.
Player stats have been moved from the first page onto the map image itself, as hopefully you can see. I think its easier that way. The roman numerals are meant to show which units belong to whom, when there are multiple players/commanders on the same team.
You can also give general un-specific orders to whole groups of units if you want (like 'swarm all troopers to X location'), I'm happy with that.
@MooseWarrior, there was a mix up in the stats. The heavy trooper (bazooka guy) was meant to be your commander, I think. You can swap for one of the other soldiers if you want.
@Neverwonagame3, I enjoyed reading your story
but I think we should leave it to other players to write things about their own team, if they want to.

There can be multiple players per team, so nobody really 'owns' a team. I will edit the first page to make that clearer.
To the people who said they'd join as whatever team, thankyou, but I assumed you were just expressing tentative interest... I can't do really anything until I know what unit's you've bought and where you've placed them
All new players receive $6 regardless. Note that NPC reinforcements are assigned to keep all teams at roughly the same value of 'free' units, so there is no unfair advantage.

Seems I am cursed to be forever overshadowed by it. But, I still don't feel good about restarting it right now. So I can either indulge in things like this, or not. But it won't change the DaftNES situation. The only damage is to my credibility on the forum… If I ever had any to begin with
