JULY
COMMUNISTS TAKE PYONGYANG
Korean communist insurgents took Koreas second largest city Pyongyang. This is perhaps the height of the Communist invasion; just one month after start of the conflict the home forces are still under retreat due to the lack of readines and surprice of the invasion.
[-1,500 Rebel Koreans, - 200 persian made tanks, -50 Chinese MiGs, - 5,000 Chinese Infantry]
[-14,000 Korean Infantry, - 100 fighters, 15 mechs, 100 tanks]
INDIA GIVES ULTIMATUM TO CHINA
Hours after the Communist invasion made headlines around the world, New Delhi's outrage developed into a 24 hours ultimatum for China to remove its volunteers and apologize for the attacks in korea. China lagged in a diplomatic reply and seems never to really have sent one. Ofcourse other than never removing its forces. India blames the chinese being controled by despotic hardliners wishing for war.
In the end chinese officials informed us of peace negotiations breaking due to Canadian lack of diplomatic skill, the truth of these statements is unknown.
GERMANY & FREE WORLD PLEDGES AID TO KOREA.
Several nations offered large military help to the republic of korea. the great fleets of germany and the free world sailed to korea this month. ofcourse it will take them some months to actually arrive in korea.

AUGUST
COMMUNISTS NEAR SEOUL, REFUGES FILL THE ROADS.
Communist Insurgents push on south yet again, now near 21 miles from the Korean capital of Seoul. thousands of refugees flee from the northern communist forces, the president called for this to be the last stand. A desperate battle for survival engulfed the armys of each side as both attempted to be the last army standing. Many volunteers from across the nation rose up to join the army. In the end the communists retreated to lick their wounds to Pyongyang, however the worst may not be over yet, as massive chinese air power continues to pound many of Koreas citys.
[-6,000 Rebels, -200 persian made tanks, -100 chinese fighters,- 4,000 chinese infantry]
[-16,000 Koreans, -12 Mechs][+5,000 koreans]

JAPAN ATTACKS CHINAS FLEET
The Japanese carriers went on for a surprise visit to china looking for her battleships, couldnt find any of them but one. The "White Dragon" was sunk to the bottom of the sea w/ her captain and sailors. The Japanese fleet then returned back to home shores.
The Chinese fleet was being torn down by the chinese themselfs. the admiral was reported to cry as his flagship was scraped for her steel. This gave china some funds.

SEPTEMBER
INDIA ATTACKS CHINA.
Indias ultimatum was no joke, two months later they were ready to make their vows true.
It is estimated by GNN experts that a number of around 250,000 Indian "volunteers" pushed on the west, as in the east 20,000 were sent to create a diversion.
However Mao was no fool, and so he had forces waiting for the largest confrontation between china and India for a long time.
INDIAN FORCES MOVE INTO TIBET, LASHA UNDER SIEGE
An estimated 20,000 indian soldiers pushed into Tibet, Tibetans also received weapons and equipment by Indian planes droping them in parachutes. Chinese forces came rushing from the north, putting down the Tibetan rebellion everywhere but Lasha, the traditional Tibetan capital. The Indian forces made it into the city hours earlier (they were to be just a distraction and push back south, but a great snowtorm in the mountians made it imposible), and as the Chinese prepare to set siege on the ancient city, it is the Indians defending the last foothold of Tibetan independence. Some rumor the Dalai Lama to be once again in Tibet, his presence make every Tibetan in Lasha willing to fight to the end.
THE BATTLE OF THIMPU.
It is in the Former capital of Buthan that the Chinese came into contact w/ the entire force of the Indian invasion. numeracly both were surprisingly the same. But the mountaneous terrain of the Himalayas make tanks virtually useless, all of the chinese and Indian armor had been left behind due to the terrain. It had been set by destiny, the Battle of Thimpu would be remembered as the first battle in which mechs would be fully depended on, instead of the traditional armor.
The chinese and Indians soon began to battle it out, the casualties were horrendus on both sides, In the end it was the Chinese Mech superiority that partially brought the first battle to an end. In the Air things were different however, the Indians had more units in the sky, and it was this factor that allowed the Indians to retain some of the taken territory.
[-39,000 Indians, -5 mechs, -72 fighters, -12 chopers]
[-41,000 chinese, -7 mechs, -84 fighters, -9 chopers]
SEAC FORCES ARRIVE IN KOREA
Being the closest to Korea, SEAC forces arived to provide desperately needed help to the Koreans. Their mech and troop forces sufered casualties, but Seoul was saved at last and the Communists were on a complete halt.

OCTOBER
THE OCTOBER COUNTER-REVOLUTION.
Unlike the USSR and China, in the CSR, Commonwealth of Socialist Republics. There we much discontent, her leader was apparently never present, ignoring the needs of the people, failing to keep up w/ military purchases and production. In one time it is believe that the Premier of the CSR attempted to join the Fascist sphere mutual relations. True or not the people were ready for a counter-revolution. Rumored to be VERY heavily funded by a western nation, the SOLADIRAT of Poland slowly but surely grew, w/out any leader watching it spreaded to other major citys and after more than a year of preparations they were ready. Forces came and took many citys w/out any shoot (how badly prepared the leader had left his nation). The nation that spent heavily in the revolution would soon be noticed a few hours later. The CSR sectors of the western hemisphere came under attack.
[-5000 CSR men, 200 tanks]
'CONTRA' SUCCESS IN CENTRAL AMERICA
American 'volunteers' (a word that now is associated w/ "legal" invasion) stormed central america, some of the free world nations had been funding rebels there (the contras) to fight against sandinista communist forces. They made many advances in guatemala, El Salvador, Honduraz and Belize due to the relative close distance to mexico and friendly air bases. But further south heavy resistance was being meet.
[-3,000 americans, -100 tanks]
[-12,000 CSR men]
BAY OF PIGS DISASTER
Everything went well for the americans so far, counter-revolution in eastern european CSR and the central american campaign going well. And so the last stage of their plans was set, the Invasion (or liberation) of Cuba. But the Military had made several aparent mistakes, they had used their entire fleet to defend the transports of aid sent to the Koreas!; now further than Pearl Harbor. But so the invasion went as planned, the forces landed but it was a disaster, they had no naval support and their air force had to keep going back to Florida to refuel. A local major leader in Havana, a man of the name of Fidel Castro rallied his men and sent everything in the island to the beaches. There the CSR mechs easily bombarded the almost helpless american mechs landing. Here he was able to not only halt the americans, but push them back to the sea. This made him famous, and perhaps a possible replacement to the former CSR premier.
[-4000 americans, 82 mechs, 27 tanks]
[-7,000 CSR men, 12 mechs, 32 tanks]

NOVEMBER
GERMAN LEGEND ARRIVES IN KOREA
And so, Germany sent their help as promised, the transports were fully protected by the seawolf reich fleet.
upon arriving a German Legend and hero was commisioned to lead the German expeditionary force "Die Faust". Erwin Rommel was to command it, it was a almost 11 years since his exploits in North Africa, and his fight in the German civil war on the side of the moderates. But now all that was in the past, he was ready to take on the Communists.
KOREAN COUNTER ATTACK
Korea pushes into the invaders, now w/ the German and SEAC forces, they are more than a match, they gain much territory back. As they get to Pyongyang, they realise the Communists have dugged in for the winter. The Germans stop due to the painful need to maintain so many mechs in such bad conditions. It is then decided that the offensive should be brougth to a halt this year.
[-8,000 korean rebels, 220 persian made tanks, 12,000 chinese infantry]
[-4,000 koreans, -56 tanks, -24 mechs][-32 german mechs]

American, Mexican and Canadian forces finally arrived in Korea early this month. But have not seen any combat as winter sets slowly in Korea and makes war deadly imposible.
