A major Speech by President Sanchez
Preceded by a large parade through Mexico city, showing off the newly rebuild hospitals, etc., and how clean and nice the city now looks. Included are tanks, and Infantry, and President Sanchez is riding in one of Mexico's new tanks, waving to the people as the National Anthem is played, people are clapping and cheering, and fighter planes are whizzing around overhead. President Sanchez comes to the center Square in Mexico City, goes onto the stage, and gives the following Speech:
Ladies and Gentlemen, Citizens of Mexico! I stand here before you today, as your PRESIDENT!!! *crowd cheers and claps* Many changes have been happened to Mexico in the past while, and they have all been good. We can see how much your nation has changed. You now have jobs, food, and money. You now live in a better home, with electricity, and clean water. Your children go to a nice new school, and you drive on new roads and over new bridges. Indeed, mexico has changed a lot, and for the better! *crowd cheers and claps noisely for a good 5 min.*
But, our society has also changed. Gone are the days when your money was stolen by your leaders, gone are the days when you had to pay bribes to get anything done, and gone are the days when you drive in old vehicles on dirt roads to a job that paid you nothing. And those days are gone forever! *crowd wildly cheers and claps* You now live in a free, Democratic, Just Society, and are like all the other millions, if not, billions of people in the Free World who have these same rights!
But, in one country, these rights are under attack. I am referring to Korea, where those people live in a society not unlike ours. They have the same freedoms, same democracy, and the same justice. But, that is under attack! The Godless Communists have invaded their country! *crowd gasps, and boos* This is a blatant attack upon the freedoms that we hold so dear. This is the Communists daring us to uphold those things that we hold so dear, this is a test from God himself. God is asking us if we are fit to live in such a society as we do, to have these freedoms, and liberties, and if we can stand up for the views that we believe in. I say that we can, and we must. We must show the world that we will not be conquered, and go off into the night, that we will take a stance, and say "NO!" with one voice. Mexicans, I am asking for your approval to send a part of our army in a Free World Coalition to liberate the parts of Conquered Korea from attack. We must do this to preserve the freedoms that we hold so dear. mexicans, do you support this? Should our brave husbands and sons go to war to defend our freedoms? *In one voice, the crowd shouts YES!, growing louder every time, then start clapping and cheering* Then they shall go. I thank you for your support, we wil;l surely need it.
Now, I have some other things to talk to you about. Our country has changed so much in these past few years, and I know that you all have noticed these changes. but, i am not done yet. We still have things to do. The first and most important is your homes. I know that many of you would like to live in bigger and better houses, am I right? *crowd cheers and claps* Good. i have a plan for this then. i plan on giving some Government-issued, interest-free loans to all those who need it, to use this money to build yourself a new house, or to make your current one better. I promise that your Government will be here to help you in this regard. I want to see new houses being erected in every corner of this great nation in the next couple years, and i want to have the pride and the joy to know that it is the Government is helping to organize this. *crowd claps and cheers*
Second, I want to talk to you about jobs. I know for a fact that Mexicans are a creative people, and that you all have your aspirations and dreams. It is time to let those dreams be known! I am announcing a new Government Agency, the Development Bank of Mexico, which will provide everybody who needs it with money and adivce on how to start your own business, or make your current one better. I want to see new businesses for everything sprouting up all over this great nation. The DBM will help with that. They will be staffed with experts who can help you achieve your goals and aspirations. I urge each and every one of you that want to start your own business to try out this new service, I am sure that it will greately help you start your own business, and help Mexico. *crowd cheers and claps*
Now, onto a rather different topic. Tourism. Mexico is a land with many great natural resources. One of those are the beautiful sandy beaches that are along so many of Mexico's coastlines. As you know, the Government has reserved some of them to be Parks, Environmentally preserved places where no one may build anything. Well, it is time for us to do something with the rest of those beaches. I am announcing that your Government has struck multi-billion dollar deals with major hotel chains to bult tourist resort complexes along those beaches, and in other parts of Mexico. These Resort Complexes will see, hopefully, many millions of Tourists visiting Mexico, and make Mexico a travel destination. We will of course advertise in other countries to attract tourists. How will this help Mexico? Well, first, it will provide Mexicans with many, many more job oppurtunities, and provide the Government with income that will, in turn, help make Mexico an even better place to live. in short, making Mexico a Tourist Destination, which we are working on, will make life better for everybody! *crowd cheers and claps loudly*
I now want to talk to you about those who have nothing, or are poor in Mexico. i know that many exist, and are trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty. The recent Economic push has helped some of them, but not all. So I, and your Government will be taking action to change this. I am announcing a series of affordable housing complexes that poor Mexicans can live in until they find a job. My Government will establish a series of Welfare and Employment Centers, to help Mexicans who are in need to get a leg up to get their life back on track, and the such. Let it be known that my Government helps all people, whether they be poor, or rich. I have pledged to make Mexico the best nation in the world, and this is just part of that pledge. *crowd cheers and claps, but is starting to get a bit tired, and restless*
I have 2 other things to talk about, and they are both important. It has come to my attention that some of the ridings in this nation are distorted, considerably so in the South, where the Indigenas live. i have promised to make life better for all Mexicans, and this promise i will keep. I am ordering the Mexican Electoral Commission to re-draw the voting boundaries in Mexico in a manner which is consist with our Constitution, which says taht each riding is to have 100,000 people in it. I will ensure that the Constitution is protected.
The last thing i need to talk to you about is our Police. i know that many Mexicans do not trust the police, and I have also noticed that the Police, while they do an excellent job, need some reforms. I am promising to make our police Force Modern, tough, and efficient. They must be able to deal with anything at any time. I am going to create the National Justice Agency, which, under the purvues of the Ministry of Justice, is going to be responsible for upholding Justice in this fair lands. I ask for all Mexicans to help me in this by putting your trust and faith into the new NJA, and trusting the officers of the NJA to do the best job possible to ensure that your freedoms and liberties are upheld in a fair and responsible manner.
