If we could play vanilla civ 4 i'd be able to play right away. we could just play it until everyone can get a hold of the expansions? If we do that, i'd like to play as the russians.
Is it possible to play the vanilla game if you have the expansions? i have to conserve my civ4 computer's memory as much as possible, so I don't want to have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling
You can easily play the vanilla game with expansions
I've found some difficulties - I live two places, and in one of them, I don't have Civ4. I have Civ3 at neither place (My father has it, but he won't let me borrow it), and I have StarCraft both places as well, even though I suck at it terribly.
I really don't want to play Civ 4. Civ3 only because first off, I'm a lot better at it and it's easier to get better at and there a lot better really good scenarios and we could make our own fairly easily.
And for Civ 3 I call China, and likewise for Civ 4
I lent my vanilla disc out to someone who is, at least for the next two months, about 4000 kilometers away. Is it possible to play Civ IV Vanilla with the BtS disc?
Im down for starcraft. Seriously down. That's something I can actually play online with a 56k connection!

Cough cough NO CD PATCH!!! cough cough. Splutter. I was forced to resort to such measures after my new Vista PC had some kind of issue with my legitimate civ4 CD, apparently thinking it was copy, because the only drive is a DVD-RW drive. Needless to say I was very careful about avoiding dodgy sites and such.
I think its perfectly legal so long as you did purchase the game to begin with...
