NES Civ3 multiplayer

Go to Multiplayer, click PBEM, then load up the multiplayer version of the WW2 Scenario under Civ Content.

I've found my Vanilla Civ4 and Civ3 Conquests- however, I can't find Civ3 Vanilla, so I can't install C3C... :(

Lord Iggy, I have vanilla civ 4, but i'm going to be gone for this week with no internet access. Maybe when I get back, we can gather people to play a role play vanilla civ 4? we will rp diplo and other such actions just like you do in an NES.

I'm in for a civ4 game, although it HAS to last a week from monday to friday.

And the roleplaying - that rocks. That is what I've been missing on the Internet Multiplayer :)

ya, the internet most of the time boils down to basically a slowed down RTS where people don't worry bout much but building the most units as fast as possible and eliminating all other players. It just feels so fake and not what I'm looking for. I have more fun playing against NPCs usually cuz at least they do diplo lol.

Also, if we play civ 4, i dibs cathrine russia.

I'll take either American leader.

How about this for civ4 vanilla multi. We'll start it up, not next week, but the week after on Monday.

Here's a save for JTK, in our own ongoing multi. For any out of practice with Civ3 multi, i'd highly recommend retrying it. :)

Monday 30th sounds ok, I'm unsure about when I'm going to summer holidays. gonna edit this soon.

EDIT:

Okay, I'm free Monday 30th --> Saturday 5th. I have to do some technical issues with the game (I have to install it on my mum's computer). I'm in the +1 TZ (Time zone). EST must be East coast time, as in -4 (New York).

If so, 12 PM EST will be 5 AM at my place, therefore I vote nay to playing at those circumstances. :p Can 12 AM or 1 PM be possible, it would be much better for me - although I think that perhaps I can make it at 5 AM. I'm unsure.

Timezones mean a PBEM will be a lot better.. or a succession game.

I have civ3/conquests, and could probably get civ4.

There are several subforums dealing with it.

Each person plays a series of turns, then sends the game's file to the next person on the list.

blast you bestshot! I wanted Cathy's Vanilla Russia!

Ceaser's Romans for me I suppose

I like the idea of a NESer succession game! I sometimes visit the Paradox forums, Europa Universalis II seems to be a good game for that sort of thing. I can see civ3 also being fun, maybe a large world with lots of civs, we could make a custom scenario and have our own UU's and heroic military leaders named after us :)

I actually do have EU II, and 3. If it's a Paradox succession game, then I'm up for it.
