When lake superior spawns a Hurrican, then you can talk ;)

You probably don't want me to reiterate about how waves swallow ships whole on the lake. Don't make me.

unaltered from what? mabey in the great lack, but when you go out on the Atlantic, just heading out for 1 5minuets, tou can see the colour change from blue similer to you coloure to real ocean which a more awe inspirnglly deeper blue, th ekind blue that makes you look around and say to yourself- "****, we really are alone out here". really awesome, really sad, makes you think alot, all said.

Which isn't the blue you used. Your blue is the type windows uses for total system failure.

:vomit:

you should coem down to florida; assuming your of age, we'll head on the casino boat; then you can see the sea in relitve safty for a (usually) easy ride and look to make soem money (I've got a friend whos a sure deal on the poker table; I dont play much cards myself, nasty habit except when playing for friends for fun, with no real money down, but this guys a sure deal; he'll win you soem money for sure ;))

Nor would I want it to be; Superior is much nicer than the Atlantic. As long as you aren't sailing in November. ;)

Stingy northern lakes? Sun warmed Florida Atlantic gives skin cancer, and the much revered ocean smells of rotten seaweed mixed with salt. I'll take crisp, pure water that you can drink without vomiting any day, thank you.

1)you need soem sun to produce vitamin D
2)excess sun can be taken care of by sunscreen
3)sunny habitats lead to Bikinis being in use for 3/4ths of the year. when your unaatached and male, this is a god send, and easilyl trumps anylocation in the world that cannot make a similer claim
4)you obviouslly havent been to florida much; I;ve never even once seen sea weed washed up on shore here, let alone notice any of the smells you seem to be talking about; further up north its different; when I lived in NC, they few times I went to the bech (didnt live anywhere near it) were marked bywhat you say; but florida?

I invite thee for a visit. a friend of mine whos a good teacher can teach you how to surf, and we'll show you how a real cost operates ;)

Here is the map. I left the latitude and longitude lines because they can be used as a good reference. I'm especially happy with Polynesia and the South pacific :D

I uploaded a modern map aswell because the borders can be used as references for rivers.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

- For cities i recommend using the smallest paintbrush square, as round cities tend to clutter the map and make it look ugly.

- For colors i recommend lighter or more moderate/duller hues instead of bright/dark hues. lighter or more moderate pastel hues tend to make the maps borders look the best while bright colors make them distracting.

That's a pretty quality job with the islands. I like the shade of blue too. I suppose the latitude and longitude lines actually work well too, break up the oceans some. All it needs now is some rivers and a few more lakes here and there.

I predict this will be the new map of NESing
Using a flat projection for this version would be cool too :)

I tweaked the world map a little. Got rid of some one-tile gray squares from the old sea color, expanded some islands, deleted those too small to expand reliably, and added Bima Lake in Japan.

I did one seperately and then transfered to the other, so there are likely some small discrepencies, but they should be pretty close to each other.

[EDIT] Did some work in Texas in New York too.

All we need now are some rivers.

Absolutely necessary:

Mississippi-Missouri
Amazon
Rio de la Plata-Paraguay-Parana
St. Lawrence
Rhine
Danube
Nile
Niger
Tigris
Euphrates
Indus
Ganges-Brahmaputra
Mekong
Yangtze
Huang He

Others are not so necessary but would be nice.

I demand the Xi Jiang as well! China just looks plain wrong without it. ;) Gonna continue working on islands and lakes over the next few days and then gonna start on rivers using the Modern World map.
