Actually, China and India are meant to be Sub-Theatres... Like the Greek Theatre where several groups fight for control (Like Sparta, Athens, Thebes and invading countries like Persia)...

I'd love to do it for you! I have my own map as well, but I can bump that down in priority (since I'm not sure if I will start a NES with it anyway.)

Can you describe what you want a bit more, or do you perhaps have a rough sketch/similar map that I can use as a source?

No, it's okay. It's just interesting to ask for maps of Sicily, a small island, China, the third largest country in the world, and India, which has similar dimensions to the entirety of Europe, all in one post.

Do you need rivers too? I'm afraid you'll have to place them yourself...

A quick try of mine. It is 1600x1500 (I couldn't really make it much bigger).

It doesn't have rivers, and the islands at the northwest are a little too... smooth, maybe they look a little unnatural. Tell me what you think.

It has 21 islands as of now. It could have more, there is enough space.

Not to be rude, but I think your map is way too sloppy to be played on. But I guess that's for j_eps to decide.

Speaking of Islands...

I could also use a good Pacific Map with all the lil' islands.

I think all those islands are too smooth. You should use freeform drawing tools rather than curve tools (in whatever program you use). Try drawing a map with trembling hands.

That's because it was not meant to be a map at first, I didn't use any tools for it. I was making a sig, saw it and said "hey I remember someone requested an island map, I could change it to that easily!". These were spots of light in the sig at the beginning. Just fixed the colors.

In truth, I'm not even sure whose maps I'm working on: Luckymoose, are you still expecting me to make one? It's been a while since you asked, and you haven't said anything since... Oh, and Israelite, I can get to your 1343 map, it will just take some time.

That's alright. I'm making a primitive one of just Europe for the purposes of showing, roughly, the changes in the timeline, but I can definately wait for one of your beautiful ones to build the real thing on.

My problem likewise, and I have very bad resources, as I've never made a historical or alt-historical map before and, somehow, I've managed to keep myself from buying a historical atlas over the last two years of NESing leaving myself in a rather difficult position here.

It's all right. I can extrapolate, for the most part, then post it, and people will point out any mistakes I make. Or fix them themselves.

1340 is very difficult to time to map Turkey. At this time, there are 22 independent states that were partly or fully in today's Turkey. If you want, I can do that part of the map. It also matters if the map is 1340 or 1343 (Sahipata disappears in between).

Turks: Karaman, Inanch, Sahipata, Menteshe, Jandar, Germiyan, Hamit, Saruhan, Osman (Ottoman), Karasi, Aydin, Teke, Alaiye, Ahi Republic, Ramazan, Eretna, Dulkadir, Akkoyunlu, Karakoyunlu

Non-Turks: Byzantine Empire, Trebizond Empire, Armenian Cilicia
